Thoughts on these? How does the purple differs from the other Vibros? Wondering if worth getting today for $300-ish? Primary application will be music enjoyment at home or possibly office.

Edit: In case anyone know, how do they compare to LCD 2.2 or the X00s mahogany?

I have no idea how the purple specifically changes the sound. The Vibro I only heard in passing.

Thanks. By any chance do you know how do they compare to the Argons? Or should I get the Argons instead? Looking for quality bass and either neutral or relaxed highs, and good sound stage.

The Vibro Mk2 and Argon Mk3 have similar soundstage, with the Argons just beating out the Vibro. Vibro MK2 have smoother treble, whereas the Argon are slightly recessed, with a peak at around 4k, and 9k. Vibro MK2 are more intimate, smooth and ‘coloured’ in the midrange, but the Argons are clearer and more precise. Bass retains a larger presence on the Argons and hits you with more force so to say.

Thanks again for sharing that! Oh one more thing, which one have tighter/faster bass? Prefer the least bloom.

You’re welcome! Argon’s are a bit tighter and have less bloom in the bass.
