£1000 Gaming Pc Build

What about this?

Ah then I would go with that since getting even extensions in all white can be expensive

It looks fine, but I’ve not used that site before so I am not sure, I usually use somewhere like Kinguin or Amazon, but I cant see any on amazon right now.

Ok I’ll take a look at a few different websites, windows 10 pro can be crazy cheap… how?? :joy:

Also the x570 comes with with driver disc, do I need this??

No, you’re always better getting the most up to date drivers etc from their website

One thing I don’t see mentioned here yet, be cautious with any 4xx series MoBo with the current gen Ryzen. Its compatible and works once the BIOS on the MoBo is updated but some boards HAVE to have an older Ryzen CPU to boot to update. Some can update off a USB on the back. 5xx series MoBos work out of the box, but still update the drivers when you get it built.

+1 to Kinguin for me. You can create a Windows 10 Boot USB from another windows 10 PC and then use the code you get off Kinguin or similar to activate. Needs 8gb IIRC.

Ah yes, I completely forgot about that, some boards have actually been sold where they are compatible with the 3xxx Ryzen series chips but not all of them.

How’s this looking…?

Some things might change but this is where I’m at.

Will I need to buy a Corsair commander pro? I know the Corsair case comes with 6 RGB fan slots but it comes with 3 RGB fans and I’m getting 3 more and then the H100i takes up two slots as it has two fans.

This means that I have 8 fan slots in total needed and I’m just a little confused :3

Looks pretty good, the 3800x is basically the same performance as the 3700x, but there’s not a lot in terms of difference in cost anyway I suppose.

For the fans I think you should be ok since the hub that comes with those fans you added seems to allow upto six fans to connect, so you should just be able to connect the other two to your motherboard’s headers (not 100% how it ties in with that Corsair software though since I dont use rgb fans myself)

Just to check, what resolution will you be playing games at?

Probably 1440p I guess

Also does the Corsair RM850 white come with all the cables I need…? It comes with some white cables but I’m not sure whether to buy corsair’s PSU Pro cable kit which are higher quality and have better cable ties

Yeah it comes with all the power cables you’d need

Depending on the games, you might want to look at a 5700xt since it trades blows with the 2070 super and costs up to £100 less, although I don’t seem to be able to find any white ones available

The Sapphire Nitro 5700xt is silver/black

Next “whitest” card is the MSI 5700xt Evoke, which is an off-gold

Why not choose the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 8GB?

Soooo kinguin is a trustworthy website to get a legitimate windows 10 pro key from?

What should I choose?

Any sort of key retailer is potential for fraud and at the very least a breach of TOS

What’s a breach of TOS?

And yeah I saw some people had issues with that website so I just had a look at URcdkey

It technically violates the microsoft terms of service, and is technically an illegal copy in their eyes. Will you get caught for this? Most likely not, but it might take a few extra steps to get it activated. These keys mainly come from larger corporations that buy windows licenses in bulk, and then somehow by someone they get sold on the grey market like kinguin. Technically these keys are only supposed to be used for that specific oem but they either get offloaded by someone working for them or they get salvaged or something

I’ve never had issues with getting keys from kinguin, but yeah as others have said, they do have the potential to have been stolen.
In terms of what one to get there, I’d usually just go for the cheapest.

As for the 2070, I tend to prefer to support Amd where I can as I like the fact that they are becoming better again and it tends to promote competition a bit more.

Ahhhhh ok, I might just go with the GPU I have selected anyway as it matches really well

And I might just buy a legit copy of windows 10 home/pro so I’m free from any issues
