£1000 Gaming Pc Build

I personally use a 240mm aio since I’m space constrained with my case so wouldn’t be able to use a large air cooler (Ncase m1), I use good noctua fans on it and my case though

I have seen that case a few times. Never built in a micro case like that yet. Curious if theres a way to get one like that with more dust filters as cleaning out such a compact unit I can imagine would be a pain in the neck.

You can get custom filters for it, I have some set up on mine, just don’t always remember to clean them :joy:

So I should get some thermal paste and just put a little bit on the CPU before installing the H100i although it already has thermal paste??

And I just love the look of the h100i, nothing has beaten it yet :))

I’d just install it as it comes out of the box personally, it only usually makes maybe a couple of degrees difference when compared to other paste.

I’d roll with stock like @Kron said, but if you want to use after market, make sure to remove the stock paste, it’s an either / or situation, don’t double up or it can “insulate” and increase temps.

What’s aftermarket and yeah I’ll just use the stock paste pre applied on the h100i

The thermal paste tube you had on the picker list, if you want to use it you would remove paste on the cooler already installed (rubbing alcohol to clean it off).

Ahhhh ok, I’ll just use the pre applied paste.

Any more issues with the final build?

I’m going to be ordering shortly and I want to make sure It’s perfect!

Also any anti-static tips are helpful or anything I can do to avoid destroying any of my components

Looks pretty good to me, the only thing I really do is to make sure to touch the case on a metal part or something large and metal to discarded any possible static. But you should be fine really, I’ve never had any issues with static when building.

That supplier for your memory is showing out of stock and that exact model isn’t showing on the motherboard’s compatibility list. The 3000mhz same series ram was, slightly different CAS latency.

I wouldn’t be too worried about it, but just something to note it’s not been tested together for specific compatibility.

How can I check they are compatible?

https://pangoly.com/en/review/asus-prime-x570-pro/compatibility/ram On here it says they are compatible

Looks good to me.

Will be fine. I think I checked QVL concerning memory exactly once in my pc building life.

Cool! I’ll order the stuff tomorrow and I’ll let you guys know how the build goes with pictures if you like with a picture of the final build?

You’d better post pics!

Will do!

Can I have a little help with installing windows 10 and how it works from a completely fresh PC like mine? What do I need?

It depends on how you purchase Windows 10. Some installations come with a USB and you would just plug that in to the PC and it should read from that after BIOS if there’s nothing on the HDDs.

If you use one of the code sites you would need to make your own USB bootable drive. On any Windows 10 PC you would download the Windows Media Creation Tool and tell it to use your usb drive for the location, needs to be at least 8gb and will format the drive to write to it.

Ahh and then after booting it from the windows 10 creation media USB I’d need a key to get a valid license right?
