Is this for the Timeless? The seller I bought them from (the one who had the largest sales numbers on AliExpress at the time) dicked me around with fake shipping numbers for three weeks before he actually sent them. Kept promising heād ship them and giving me new fake numbers any time I called him out on it, he only finally shipped when I told him I wanted to cancel. I had three or four numbers and only the last one he gave me after three weeks was the actual real tracking number.
@blorg nah, I think he meant the S12 shipping which was processed by LETSHUOERās official site.
Iāll just make it simple since this is the Timeless and not the S12, enough confusions already lol. I just checked my tracking info, and I think itās a temporary server problem with Yanwen (500 error), cuz Iāve been able to track mine to the departure warehouse before today. Alternatively, 17track is pretty spot-on with the details. I donāt know about your last mile courier, but 17track provided me with another Yodel tracking number that I assume is for the last mile delivery within UK:
Check back to Yanwenās site tomorrow or some days later. I remember @shuoer saying somewhere that Yanwen normally takes about 3-4 weeks to arrive at destination after shipping out.

Yes, truth is that is very confusing to speak on S12 on this thread (however if they would make Timeless obsolete, thenā¦ ;)).
I am just very unpatient since this is probably my first such YOLO purchase in my life and this would either be big fail or success

My experience with Yanwen is abysmal, my EJ07M was sent with Yanwen back in October and tracking shows itās still in China.
Luckily, I received my money back after I opened a dispute on Aliexpress. Now Iām curious if Iāll ever receive it

Yeahā¦ Everything about the S12 is YOLO for all of us on the train 
The purchase page still being set up properly during the sales, the 4.4 cable still in the talks when the first few orders went through, the PayPal issue at launchā¦ I personally only had orders sent through Yanwen twice, not enough to know their track record, but 
Everything about the S12 so far is based on word of mouth that the driver config is similar to Timeless, and that Shuoer products upon delivery holds a reputable quality. Weāll just have to wait and see if the end result proves their service worthy. At least itās the official site and not some random shop on AliEx, and @shuoer is great to talk with for customer service (yeah he single-handedly handled the transaction errors during the sales)

Having a good time with them so far. So far, as with any IEM Iāve tried seeing the affect of power on ā high gain / balanced (through my ZX300 at least) isnāt adding anything compared to equal volume near the top of an Apple dongle.
Itās doing a great job of Delete Forever right now. The bass is growing on me.
Hot swapping with Aladdins, Oracles, Blessing 2, balanced, unbalancedā¦ going nuts. I have such limited serious listening time to make comparisons like this. A lot will come down to comparative cost. B2 will be first to go, which is no surprise to me but I like to retry a set every year or so if the opportunity presents ā taste changes.
For me Timeless with CP100-Z was too short (but those are perfect in the Oracle), regular CP100 are performing very well for seal and sound.
Edit: stock blue tips on. Happy with bass now, and with the rest it seems. Knowing the budget struggles we go in and out of as a household, I see this coming down to the Timeless and Aladdin in the end. Much as I rate the Oracle. Thereās a monster inside me that wants to try the Dark Magician before calling it quits for a long while.

I donāt want to sidetrack the thread, but it might be that simple. If it was called the GH6 or something I might be less recklessly curious about it. I just know it looks great, is made by a DIY fella (so were the Lokahi, and Iām a big fan of those), is single DD, and has an unusual tuning. I can find zip about it, but I hear echoes of it being well praised on Discord, I havenāt read any of those discussions first hand though. Itās just tempting when a unicorn comes up for sale, and possibly wonāt be too hard to sell on if itās a flop for my tastes.

Can you recommend guys a portable dac amp over 1000mW power and around 300$ for Timeless ? I saw the tri tk2 but i find it too bulky.
XD-05 Balance is your best bet if you can find it on sale.

Not that Iāve tried. Topping nx7 is my favourite amp for clear signature, but you gotta use something as dap (like apple dongle).
