Hi . I have 4 dongle dacs from 80mW to 190mW output power (Ibasso dc03-04, shanling ua1, e1da 9038s)
Have this little guys enough power to drive the Timeless well ? I sold my TRI I3 because they notā¦
HBB powered them through his DAC. RME ADI-2
Iām pretty sure the official specs of E1DA 9038s is 550mW into 16 ohms. Powerful as mofo.
The Timeless is rated at 14.8 ohms so itās going to be half a watt into those suckers, should be plenty.

I donāt feel the e1da too powerful. Half the volume than the other three. I donāt know why
Linsoul shows Timeless at 104db sensitivity, same as Shuoer Tape, for comparison.

I sent back my tape pro, but I remember it was easy to drive, but the tri i3 has * Sensitivity: 103dB/mW and i only Can drive with a marantz deckstop amplifer

No problem. I think you gonna be good. Thereās a point about planars and energy to be done, of course. But i believe you gonna be more than fine.
I dont care home amplifers , because i use all my iems on the go, especially during bicycle ride .

What is the best dongle dac to get the most of the 7hz timeless . I love wide sound stage but people say that dongles cant deliver it . And i want to eq them on the go if that possible cz i didnāt eq before so i want to give it a shot
You can EQ on your phone.
If you want BT with eq go qudelix 5k.
If you want just a dongle I rec L&pw2, but its gonna cost you.

@nymz There is the hidizs s9 pro for ~100$ and w2 for 300-340$ . And i think i will get one of this 2 dongles . But the question is does it worth 200$ + . And do u think that w2 can be any closer to a good desktop dac / amp . I have the zen dac v2
Is it the 9038D (single ended) that you have?
Find your pick! I also got w2 because of the QOL it had and lineout. If you only want a pure dongle on a budget, get another one

Maybe look into the Lotto PAW S1/S2? Iāve heard the first one has a very good sound for a dongle and is also pretty feature rich, afaik. Itās not a power monster like E1DA, but via itās balanced output you should be OK.
