šŸ”¶ 7HZ Timeless Planar

Ohh Wow u also ordered UP? No 7hz timeless?

If I were you, I will order a planar IEM. They sound different than DD or Tribrid, and I think you will like that

Yeah waiting on both to compare them to Var.

Prolly only keeping 1 of them and getting Mest, but time will tell.

After, already spent too much and if I decide on Mest, it will take priority.

Iā€™m getting Timeless and Oxygen (or falcon pro if it proves out better)

Nice!

I hope everything will go smoothly with your orders.

Customs on my country are stuck tho. If something stops there, Iā€™m done :frowning:

So sorry to hear that. I personally have been struggling with ear drum and inner-ear issues in my right ear for almost a year now.

Take your time and take care of your ear and heath so you can enjoy them when you are fully recovered. Youā€™re not alone, when something like this happens to us, it hurts more because itā€™s just not an infection, it effects the enjoyment of our hobby.

Thanks!

Especially when you want to enjoy your hobby, and thank you! Yes, I am feeling 100% now but let me tell you do I take a lot of care putting IEMs in and taking them out of my ears now. Iā€™m not allowed to do as much tip rolling anymore.

Yes, Sir/Maā€™am. How may I help you? Hopefully youā€™re not asking about video lighting setup or nice desks and such. i_i RIP @ me

Noes, just asking because Iā€™m also interested on Timeless and my favourite IEM is Mangird Tea. How do you compare both on mid presentation?

Mids were what Tea did good, to my ears. It was best at/with elec guitar, I would say. Tea is probably more relaxed, and flatter sounding in all senses. Iā€™m a noob about what mids are, but I would generally say Timeless is extremely transparent through the whole FR, with more brightness than bass. The transparency and placement and depth of things are stand-out. Although the bass is not super strong, it does have good impact, and is very breathable, so there is zero pressure fatigue. :+1: Vocals donā€™t sound as warm & natural as Iā€™ve heard before, but there is zero veil to the presentation, so detail and discernability of reverb/effects is fantastic. I donā€™t have a problem with tonality or anything, but you canā€™t be afraid of treble detail with these. These arenā€™t warm & relaxed, but more balanced & full range/detail kind of sound. I think bass is the weak point, in that itā€™s not as impressively heavy-hitting and deep as something like FD5, but this IEM is far better balanced and less fatiguing than FD5. Iā€™m extremely impressed with this thing, and itā€™s very affordableā€¦! :+1: My FD5 sounds more spacious and exotic, but I would only miss some of the bass, if I used Timeless from now on and never heard FD5 again.

I can test some songs, if you like, but I donā€™t have Tea anymore to 1-1 compare.

Oh, when you put that title I thought you considered them a replacement and not a side-grade. Thanks for the info, is as I expected. Iā€™ll prolly buy them soon

Have you tried to EQ up the bass on the Timeless? Planars usually respond very well to EQ.

I do. I donā€™t like Tea. Lol. But it did guitars very well. But everyone has their tastes/prefs for sound.

I tried Windows Bass Boost so far :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: But that only lets you mess with down to 50Hz :\

What I meant is that they are different and are speciallized on different things, which is good for my collection. Teas are special, if you like them.

oh god not the windows enhancement option. :joy:
