I must know what case youāre using for your collection
They are watch cases, he have said it before.
First impressions? I am looking to get an IEMā¦ should I get this over the blessing 2?
You probably gonna need to tell us your library, what genres do you listen to.
I am afraid I donāt really have a set genre I like to listen to. Hip Hop, RnB, Jazz, Classic, Pop, Rock and EDM is what comes to mind immediately, but chances are, I forgot something.
Mangird Tea then, Blessing 2 is very neutral so you will find it lacking bass for those genres.
Or if youāre Moondrop fan, Dusk is another option.
So the timeless is worse than the Mangird Tea then? I got the impression people really like it in this thread.
Equalization is an option for me btw.
They are in different price range, one is 80$ moreā¦ Although I didnāt see anyone in here compare 7hz with Teas.
Why are people just slaming words without music context?
Different tonalities, different drivers, different libraries.
Wooooow guys, breathe. Let @Resolution take a good listen. Heās prolly sleeping or doing stuff right now.
Breathe again.
Btw every time someone compares 300$ kingpins between them, specially without ever hearing them, a unicorn dies.
The unicorn farm must be empty then.
yeah, he is in the US, so early morning for him.
Listened to my sonās Dusk for a week I pick it over Blessing 2 OG I have not heard Tea
Dusk have a fun touch compare to B2ās neutral tonality so I understand why people choosing it over B2.
Yes I was sleeping. I just showered and my GF and I are going to eat at a local diner for breakfast/lunch soon. We usually do every Saturday.
I havenāt read replies up above yet but I listened to the Timeless last night and already have some impressions. I wanted to listen more and come to more concrete results because I feel the Timeless warrants it.
There is not much not to like about the Timeless it does a lot right including resolution, clarity and detail and tonal balance. It is considerably different than a hybrid that has imaging that pops out at you. Itās strange to be able to hear the kind of detail and clarity the Timeless is capable of without the imaging Iāve come to expect.
The other aspect of the IEM that is very interesting is its speed and dynamics. It has none of the issues dynamic drivers do with speed and clarity of the leading edge of transients. It is extremely fast being able to reproduce transients in metal with perfect clarity and detail. But the weight of the decay and the impact in which it does it is not quite as ideal or as pleasing as a dynamic driver. But please note, there are some dynamics that are worse like the Legacy 3.
The Timeless presents a unique sound I feel most audiophiles will love with not many downsides. It is generally a wonderful sounding IEM with outstanding resolution capabilities lacking a bit when it comes to dynamics and slam when compared to the very best of hybrids and tribrids.
The fact that this IEM is only around 200 bucks is astonishing. It has a unique sound but I feel it is generally competing with the very best of the best as long as you understand that itās incorporating a completely different technology that excels at certain technicalities that other drivers canāt compete with yet in return also comes with a few shortcomings of its own but I wouldnāt be too concerned. Iād recommend this IEM to any enthusiast without blinking.
Again, these are first impressions and the Timeless deserves some time to really digest what it is capable of. Iāll try to have more impressions later today after more listening with more examples from music.
So many impressive IEMs coming to market. We audiophiles are blessed.
I have three of theseā¦

So, basically. A DD + BA combination?
That might be a simplistic way of describing it. I need more time with it because I did not concentrate on any specifics like timbre vs other sets. I listened to some acoustic music and my usual prog metal and a few Ariana tracks to get a general idea of how it sounds.
I donāt want to say too much because I wasnāt doing critical listening at all last night with it, but itās safe to say I was very impressed and was enjoying listening to them very much.
I also listened to the new gold Mele I got as well. I remember thinking Mele wasnāt as clear but the stage and imaging are so different and it sounds as if when a dynamic event happens in the music, the dynamic driver punches it with more authority. You can feel it more. Things pop out at you from within the stage with a DD. With the Timeless, everything stays within the stage without as much dynamic slam but everything is crystal clear.
It is a different experience, one that I feel most audiophiles will really enjoy.
If someone is looking for a set that is super dynamic and known for slam, the Timeless would not be the IEM that I would direct them to, but the Timeless excels at tonal balance across the spectrum, resolution, clarity and detail without being harsh what so ever.
The Timeless is showing me that there is still yet another alternative to doing a detailed presentation of treble.
