Another rainy morning by the Bay. Time to break out the Mutter!
I love this womanā¦musically, of course!
As a side note, I am on the desktop system today and have hit on a supreme EQ mix on the Peace APO. Classical has never sounded better on this system. I know a lot of people say no to EQ, but for me and my hearing situation, itās a great tool.
This little system still surprises me. Awesome stuff.
Excellent choice, Sir.
I have re-discovered a great YT channel featuring Siccas Guitars. Incredible work and incredible tone.
@Raptor168 Iāve seen some of the Siccas YT posts. Good stuff!
Have a wonderful Christmasā¦and thanks for helping to make my year
more enjoyable via our conversations!
Yessir, likewise. Looking forward to many more in the coming year.
While I was at my Brotherās haouse we stayed up late and watched John Wick 3. Towards the end there is a major fight scene that is accompanied by an amazing violin piece. I could swear I had heard it before but could not nail it down. I decided to do a little research and discovered that it was the opening part to āWinterā, from Vivaldiās āFour Seasonsā. The search was on for a good version of this work, and I found this one.
I find this to be absolutely superb. Iām quite taken by Mr. Perlmanās work in this performance with the London Philharmonic. I have the HE1000/Liquid Platinum pairing on tonight. Heavenly.
@Raptor168 Amazing work(s) of music, eh?!!
I like Janine Jansenās, but thanks will ck the Perlman too.
Giving this a listen too. Like you I am always on the hunt for various pieces of my favorites to see which I like best.
I finished that album and wanted to compare it to another album, one of my personal favorites and have finished that one now too.
If you can, give this one a listen and let me know what you think.
Will do. I love it, a Vivaldi-themed battle of the bands!
She is incredible. I have not heard her play āThe Four Seasonsā so this is going to be interesting.
I have that album in my library as well. I had forgotten about it though and will give it a listen here shortly.
