Just finished Parasyte on Netflix. Pretty good, dives into some philosophy and meaning of being human without being too heavy.
ReLife is actually quite good. I like the sound design a lot surprisingly enough. Music lines up perfectly with the scene and is really well done.

I completely forgot about re:life. That was great, the manga was good, a bit drawn out but not,too bad.
i think things like re:life and megalo box are so good mostly because anime is at its lowest quality in general.

Well no anime is just kinda a little saturated anime is like any cartoons even when we were kids think about all those cartoon you dreaded having on but had those few special ones . There is 1 or 2 great anime every season it’s just really hard to go back to the years where we just pumped out good anime back in 2005-2008
anime doesnt follow western cartoon law
western cartoons have few gems
anime is less saturated than it was when they were punching out hits
you want over saturation in media
It’s honestly mainly down to how much budget each anime has to work with as that determines animation quality . Kinda determines the quality of the director as well as the anyone involved.

I don’t really think anime is at it’s lowest though you just gotta have a different mindset when it come to different anime megalobox and relife are great because of the studio and budget they cou work with and was given a chance and big investments. But if you look at the current season and find a somewhat on anime like Arte you can see the good writing good, good directing and just ok animation and character designs. You can see the good an the bad.
