Anime as whole has definitely seen a significant drop due to the over saturation there are more studios releasing anime but we still have out favorites like kyo Ani and madhouse still releasing the greats. You just have to deal with jc staff 's mediocrity and a1 pictures who releases some gems but mostly kinda well animated trash.
kyoani doesnt make anything non romance related that is good
and tomoko market was dog bad even for their romance stuff

I’m also seemingly much more accepting of garbage than most though and fill find the good parts in almost any anime so take that into account. I watch literally at least the first few episodes of everything and find the ones that I feel is good for my tastes at the time.

Ah I watch seasonally just cause I’ve pretty much watched almost everything worth watching. So all that’s really left is the seasonal anime
There is always a good gem (Houseki no kuni) “Pun intended haha” Like Studio Orange made such a big bang with that one yet barely anyone knows about it. The good stuff is always overlooked for the trashy stuff in a season and then gets ignored. Its legit like the trashy stuff gets more views simply because hating on something gets more media views than saying something is good. People like hate. I also like Rice will watch stuff that is trash because it does make the really good stuff better and its sometimes fun to just watch something that is bad. As I staded early on even trash can be fun. I have also found myself reading alot more manga than watching anime. Dunno why but atm im enjoying it more, though I am personally a sucker for black and while art styles.
Lol I will watch every isekai anime cause I have no fucking soul and will keep feeding the machine with cash if they give me a cute girl figure.

Too true, I dont watch them all because some are legit trash of trash. But I watch the more recycling trash shows. Some I wouldnt even call trash because I like em too much. Slime aint trash that shits good

I’ve definitely seen some absolute garb it’s one of the few genres that is actively going downhill. Unlike sports anime which just keep getting better.
