dragonball was my first dropped anime and bleach was my second, before I even used mal. HAHA
I haven’t been heavily following per season anime in a couple years, so I missed the hype for like Re:Zero and Konosuba and the likes. I already have like 200 anime on my MAL that I have yet to watch, so I have been super out of touch with whats been coming out. I kind of fell out of anime honestly until I sat down and watched all the seasons of Jojo’s, then jumped on Demon Slayer, and now I’m back to occasionally trying to work down on what I still have yet to watch. And, no, Champloo is on my to watch list, but haven’t seen it yet.
Yeah, Bleach was my first, and I watched it until after the Fullbringer arc (like around ep 300) and dropped the shit. It’s one of the few garbo anime that I’ve dropped, but ik how the bloodwar arc goes and that seems hype, so I might jump back into Bleach when the new season comes around.
Konosuba is a good must watch comedy and re zero is one of those hype while it was airing kinda shows great jumping into discussion threads and such it’s still a good anime though and definitely worth the watch
On god, I have so much shit to watch still. This is my MAL, for reference: https://myanimelist.net/animelist/isaiahexe

What I fucking want now is a legit Code Geass s3 (I’ve heard the movie is weird and doesn’t actually act as an s3) and a Madoka Magica season after Rebellion, cause that shit still needs a “conclusion”.
Yeah man, if you look at my MAL, you’ll see just how much shit I have yet to watch, I have such a big backlog man its not even fuckin funny.
Winter 2021 is looking good though some old favorites getting new seasons

Lol I just don’t use it. I’ve watched enough that keeping up with seasonal is all I got going for me now
Yeah, you’re way ahead of me. I’ve been slacking and am a dirty casual, used to be more into it and following r/anime type shit, but I have so many classics yet to finish that I can’t find the time to fit in seasonal shit along with the slow pace I’m already starting and finishing the backlog. I still need to watch NGE, FMA, Bebop, trigun, champloo, and those are the classics I have yet to see just off the fuckin top without looking at my list.
Really? Is it that good? And what do you mean by weak to strong, like you mean the mc?
when you say its a weak to strong anime
it only ever means the MC lol
idk maybe im looking at it with some kind of rose color even though it doesnt feel nostalgic for me.
But i remember just feeling that feeling that you strive to feel, hence why you watch anime.
That bittersweet tingle.
That is why I watch anime, and I think why Steins;Gate hooked me so much. Man, I really have so much shit to watch and talking about anime makes me want to binge my list which would be physically impossible, lmao. Eventually I’ll catch up. Eventually.
I have about 14 10* manga out of around 1700 entries on mal, not even half the manga ive read but titles i dont have on MAL arent memorable and pre2007. Or pre my second MAL account in 2013 and I didnt bother to manually transfer it. LOL
anyway, those 14 or so manga have either been added to this account or transferred from my old account, i start transferring 10’s first when i transfer mal accounts.,
So those are my lifetime 10*
for me to rate it a 7* i have to really have liked it, 8* is really enjoyed prolly not the ending, and 9 is just top notch i recommend to everyone and i love it. 10 take about double the effort 9 and 8 take to get combined. I wont just simply add shit i love, those are a 9.
Idk if my word is any good but this is one of those, when you have time, even when you are reading or watching something else, just marathon it. Get it over with. Soak in its embrace.
now that i think about it
1700 entries with a banned mal account that was from 2007-2013
And ive finished about 10 decently long manga since dec 30
im just lazy now lol
i dont add shit
my score mean is 6 btw
Damn, that is crazy tbh. I’ve been super slow too, but that’s cause I’ve fallen out of anime in the past 2 or 3 years. I’m going on a purge through my mal rn to try and make my backlog under 50, which is currently at like 300, from a bunch of shit I just added when I was younger that looked ok.
So I watched that recent Netflix movie about a girl who can turn into cat: “A Whisker Away”. I thought it was mediocre as hell to put it mildly lol. The writing, art, and voice acting were all subpar for a feature length film imo. Even the video encoding was bad. Netflix only allocated a bandwidth of 3 Mb/s when they could have set it up to 5.8 Mb/s. Which was low enough for compression artifacts to become an issue. But I guess it’s possible my local Netflix server is just crap today. I hate how Netflix removed the ability to manually select a stream quality.
In conclusion, I don’t exactly recommend it. But the movie is cat themed… so it’s got that going for it at least.
Stein’s Gate is one of my top 10.
I was at a my friends house, she has like 7 cats, and saw an ad for this on youtube.
Thanks for the info though, I’ll tell her to not watch it lol.
I would tell her to just not have high expectations. If she’s really into anime and cats, she may find it worth while idk lol
here is a pretty good anime for cat lovers aired a few seasons ago I quite enjoyed it
I may look at that one later. Apparently the literal translation of the title is:
My roommate is sometimes on my knees, sometimes on my head, Hizaue
Brilliant.
