Anime discussion thread

Tower of God will end, but the amount of shit still to do in the manhwa is insane. I’ve covered at least 3 seasons worth of content for the anime (after the first season) and we’re not even anywhere close to an ending. It definitely feels One Piece-esque.

Worth reading the manhwa. Skip the stuff that’s already been covered in the show (I think season 2 is a good place to start with a quick skim of season 1).

As it’s so long and fight packed it got skippable at points, but the actual fights and character development are damn interesting. Also a really cool world idea.

So help me god if they dont continue the breaker or at least make an anime of it then fuuuuuuuuu… :frowning:

I must say that I agree Manwha are super bingable, Should give Hardcore leveling warrior ago or Solo Leveling both amazing manwha. Personally prefer Hardcore for a story point of view but Solo for that FUCKING HYPE.

My favorite manhua right now is
They say I was born a king’s daughter.
A returner’s magic should be special
Peerless dad
I read a few more of the more generic manhua but they are so samey abunch of them just kinda mix together especially the martial arts based ones where they focus ki and shit.

I just have a lot of problems following seasonal anime, since I like binging, I actually kinda prefer the Netflix strategy because I get to watch all of BNA (it’s alright) in a single sitting and have fun

Those who use the service Crunchyroll for anime:
bit of a headsup but myself and two others I talk with on discord received an email today about suspicious activity on our accounts on crunchyroll from a different ip. Looks like someone may be going around hacking into accounts. Suggest keeping an eye.

Just started watching the 4th season of Sword Art Online and already finding it exciting!

You mean Alicization, or War of Underworld?

season 4 would be war of the underworld, not sure if he means part 1 or 2 tho.

It’s alright, I still think SAO is somewhat mediocre at times, I have serious issues with plot and some characters I really don’t like. Overall though it is damn entertaining and production values and animation are done fairly well so it’s a fun watch I turn my brain off for

yooooo the latest episode of fire force. I’m actually dying. Arthur memorized pi.

I just caught up. Ogun is a beast. This show is just so beautifully animated.

Ogun is prolly the coolest character design and coolest power hands down.

Im still not totaly clear on what his power is. He seems to be able to summon and controls projectiles and even use them with his board to fly, but that doesn’t seem to be really conected to what he does in the most recent episode.

The fact that Devil Is a Part Timer only has one season is a fucking travesty. Just finished it and am going to be sad it’s over :frowning:

The manga keeps going though and is worth the read if your into the show. The lack of reverse isekais in general though is a fucking travesty though. I much prefer another one of those than another isekai

Oooh. Link to an online version?

Sorry I don’t do manga on PC and just use an app. Maybe crunchyroll or manga fox might have it?

Will check :beers:

Hmm watched season one of FF but didn’t care it that much. Is s2 an upgrade or if I didn’t like s1 should i just skip?

if you didn’t like S1 then it’s not for you. S2 is more of the same just furthering the plotline set in the first season.

FF is a pretty good shonen with some interesting ideas, bust still falls into the normal tropes of the genre. not that that is bad but some people can’t stand trope-y stuff these days. The shows strong points is the character designs and animation, but in S2 world building has taken a more front and center focus, which is good because the setting has some potential just needs to be flushed out more. other than that I would say the second season has improved on the pacing issues of the first but still could be a bit better.
