Yeah I meant if they made them that good. If the LCD 1 is that good, the <onolith appeal on bang for back is lost. People wonāt have a reason not to buy Audezes.

Metal posted a graph for the LCD-1 supplied by Audeze itself. The measurements clearly show about 2 dB less bass below 80 Hz than the LCD-2 Classic. I donāt really think theyāre going to show a bass dip on their own headphone model if in fact the bass is flat line.
Metal says the bass quality is excellent. The graph says that technically the bass quantity will be just a little shy of the LCD-2C. Makes sense considering the price.
I aināt seen the graph yet, but for 400$ thatās great. And with Audeze having a monthly payment plan, the M1070 (or the m1570 if I convince myself to spend that much) will have to drop a boom on the LCD 1ās ass.
I would not dip into debt or a payment plan for them lol, but they do seem kinda appealing

Apparently only 40 units were ever made. So guess they didnāt want to waste a perfectly good name that fits nicely into their current plans. Just as there are and have been multiple variants of LCD-2 and LCD-4, I expect the future will hold permutations on LCD-1.
There seems to be some new tech involved in the LCD-1. Would expect them to develop that tech stream with new LCD-1something models. All the same the name duplication is going to give them some trouble at some point.

All that matters is that it sounded good. A headphone can look like anything as long as it sounds good.
