Nighthawk Carbon would probably be more fun and immersive.

Which one has more expansive soundstage and accurate positioning in gaming? This or Argon mk3?

I think because of the artificial width of the argons positioning becomes hazy, where itā€™s clear and defined with the nighthawks

Time to end your confusion. Nighthawks, done. I hope you love them as much as I

Out of pure chassis design and intended use case of either headphone the argonsshould have a wider soundstage. I dont own the thing or a pure advocate

And depth of stage? Which one you can hear further away across the map? Rice if you dont own any of them thereā€™s no need to comment, with all due respect. I love you.

Nighthawk Carbon have so much depth and immersiveness to them. One reason I love them for action movies so much!

Though I havenā€™t listened to both, the Argons are known for having a much wider soundstage. However, the Nighthawks have much better imaging. For gaming purposes, I think the Nighthawks would be much better for that purpose. Their imaging is on point.

Pretty deep actually, I would say deeper than most. I think the nighthawks would be pretty high up there

Just gotta drop my 2 cents imaging is more important than soundstage in gamingā€¦

this ^ all my favorite gaming cans have been good at imaging, but not the largest for soundstageā€¦ I will say that if a headphone or amp is slightly compressed as well that could help bring out the details of the steps etc. my 95x is justā€¦Love lol

Ill say that I do like the Nighthawks too, just depends on budget imo. if you can swing 500 get the 95x for gaming, otherwise get the Nighthawks. Hell even Beyer cans will be good due to the imagingā€¦

Single player or competitive multiplayer a wide soundstage ainā€™t shit without good or decent imaging

My favorite comp gaming headphones have like no soundstage, all imaging and tight depth lol

Iā€™d say scroll through the information, praises, and feedback regarding the Nighthawks. Other than that, I would just buy them from a place that you can return them. Use them for a good while to let them burn in for a while and see for yourself. Nothing will convince you better than your own ears.
Best of luck w/ your decision.

My personal favorite is my 990s for gaming Beyers do really good at placing a sound within a space particularly good at left and right imaging

See my 1990s were my go to until I got the 95x, I sit here and question every decision until when I got electrostats. I love the sound so ymmv depending on that aspect. My nighthawks are good too. Very relaxing for non-gaming activities. Iā€™m battling the demons that tell me to go for T1s or some other totl can that punches above its price. As my brother would say everything is a triangle and I need the 3rd piece to the puzzle LOLā€¦

Thatā€™s the thing; i do not live in the USA and there is no place where I can buy the Nighthawk AND return it if i dont like it, itā€™s a one way purchase, also my cost is $330, thatā€™s why Iā€™m taking my time. Sorry for making this drag, you guys are definitely helping.

What is a 95x??

And I disagree about soundstage; it is essential for immersion in my opinion, especially its depth in role playing games in open-ended world like Skyrim and The Witcher 3.

The bass and soundstage of the Argon Mk3 + the clarity and imaging of the nighthawk = my perfect single player headphone. Does it exist?

Koss ESP95x

In the imaging conversation we were talking about more competitive games, for immersion soundstage is pretty important for casual

Just going to say that I do believe the nighthawks have better bass. The argon has more but more does not equal better.
