Nighthawk gang
,…
Sorry dude, you’ll find a pair eventually!
Where are you out of again?
Never got it, bought an hd58x instead. Cheapest I can find a carbon is 330 euros, about 360 USD…
58x is amazing, you should have fun with it!
360 USD is certainly pushing it. I would never recommend them at that price used. But brand new? Maybe, but only if you have the money and are willing to spend that much.
So these came in, forgive me for the lack of excitement but I’m coming from getting my clears last week. Lol
They came in!
Have you gotten any listening time so far?
Just very briefly to make sure they worked. They’re interesting for sure! Not sure what I think about them yet but they’re different enough that I’m keeping them.
@Lel You have to try the suede pads! Much better bass impact and tones down the treble sibilance just right.
Been having an issue with the right driver cutting out the audio. I have to unplug then replug the right side to get it to work again. I have emailed them already so hopefully I can get this resolved.
Yeah it sounds like you have a cable issue. Perhaps the connector is tarnished?
It also does it with my newfantasia m1060 cable. So it’s most likely the connector.
Interesting, well hopefully you can get it resolved
How long is the stock cable of the nighthawk?
Is it detachable?
Can I replace it with a balanced cable or does that also require rewiring the drivers from the inside?
The carbon comes with a 4.25 foot long portable cable, it can be replaced easily and has 2.5mm jacks in the cup, you can just use a balanced cable, no rewiring
Also it’s very efficient so it can be run of most devices and still sounds pretty great
M0N and other owners if you guys had to pick between Argon Mk3 and Nighthawk for Single Player gaming like the Witcher 3, what would u pick?
Hmmm, I think the more unique presentation of the nighthawks does it for me personally, it can just recreate a space in a really cool way. Overall I tend to pick up the hawks more than the argon’s tbh
