It will certainly take you some time to get used to, but itā€™s worth it. Extremely comfortable and a superb chill phone.

I just had to know what is meant by all of this ā€œuniqueā€ and ā€œwill take some time to get used toā€ talk. Hopefully Iā€™ll know tomorrow. Relying on USPS sooooo, we will see.

What cable are yā€™all hawk owners using? This stock one has some unusual wear on the connectors.

Like a patina? You can use some silver polish to get that off

Nah it actually has wear in the silver, like grooves worn into the 3.5mm I guess from rotating in the 1/4" adapter a lot. Iā€™ll get a picture later. Iā€™ve never seen that happen before.

I wouldnā€™t worry about it, sound has not been affected at all by that. But i do know that many people donā€™t like the stock hawk cable, personally i love it lol

Thatā€™s happened to some of my connectors but hasnā€™t been too much of an issue for sound at least, but that is a noticeable amount of wear

Thatā€™s what happened to mine. I had to get a replacement cable.

The coating has worn off and the copper core shines through.
Not realy something to worry about.

What is on the other hand worysome is how quickly that happened.

I use Hart Audio cables, and they work great and offer a lot of flexibility for source gear.

Decided to throw the protein leather pads on it again today since Iā€™ve been rocking the suedes for a little while. Sheesh these things change a lot when you swap the pads. Honestly canā€™t say which I like better. If anything itā€™s fun to change them every few weeks just for the heck of it.

You use the long or short option for the 2.5mm mono connectors?

Mine are just the short. The connector is narrow enough and the ports shallow enough that itā€™s not necessary to get the long version
