Awesome, probably will go that route, at least as a backup
NewFantasia Dual 2.5mm to 3.5mm & 6.3mm Adapter Replacement Cable Compatible with Monolith M1060, M1060C, M565, M565 Headphones 2meters/6.6ft
Never even took my cables out of the package ordered this before I even got my hawks!!
I ordered the monoprice m1060 copper cable. Ive had one of the new fantasia ones and I prefer a woven cable if I can help it, lol. Iām using the stock m1060 cable in the meantime and wow it is only like 5% better than or NH cable. Lol microphonicsā¦
Hmm may go this route so I get it quicker
when I orderedā¦ I think it was in my hand in 2 days .Matches the color of my OG hawks perfectly and is a quality cableā¦ no issues at all.
I got the HD700 version of that cable. Slightly longer connectors fit fine still.
You are the one that recommended this cable to meā¦ Fits and is a 6footer
Gunna pick this up, thanks for the shout
Letās goooooooooo!!!
Hmmm not sure why you would do that, canāt say but I would assume it would effect the sound
If I remember correctly when I was researching and reading about them on the Audioquest siteā¦ The shape , size , and style of that opening is what helped with its unique soundā¦
http://personal.audioquest.com/nighthawk if you look on this site it should mention just that it is there for a specific purpose. Hope this helps.
Well I purchased my OG hawks newā¦ I have got to assume the grill is there and shaped that way for a reason and it ācouldā help in the unique sound that Hawks have. Personally if you are willing to part with your 6xx for a āpossiblyā damaged headphone then go for it and I wish nothing but luck for youā¦ The Hawks are different and should be experienced in my eyesā¦ Once again I state that it may not effect them in any way butā¦
I would be more trustworthy then, but imo his headphones are a bit overpriced for what they are lol
Sounds like a plan
$200 would actually be like the least you will see the carbons sell for and it would depend on luck, the person, condition, and whether it has all the accessories, case, etc. Highest brand new price I have seen them sell for is $400. Bought mine for right around the $250 range
Thatās pretty low for them. Usually I see them go for $300, and I think they are totally worth it up to about $400. But I am sure if you relaly stay up to date on their selling and listings, you will be able to score a deal.
Just noticed today that the place I got mine from have listed them on amazon uk:
AudioQuest NightHawk Carbon Semi-Open Around-the-Ear Headphones https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MU3YFZ4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_v37YEb1612HRW
Are the OG Nighthawks still worth it under 300 USD new? Or should i only be looking at Carbons?
I would say carbons if you can mainly because of the different pads but the og under 300 new is pretty solid imo
