Sounds like Carbons are the way to go if you can find them. I havenāt dedicated a great deal of time and effort to looking for them, but it seems like new stock has about dried up stateside. I did find some at a shop in New Zealand for ~us$300, but no telling if theyād ship outside the country, and even if they did the cost of shipping would kill the deal.
Been listening to some Deep House music tonight and the bass is so rich and full. Asgard 3 Iāve had for over a week now (and this one didnāt break on me) and yeah these things are still crazy fun. EDM music on these is much more enjoyable and fun than on my HD600, almost feels like there is a little concert on my head.
This makes perfect sense lol. Glad youāre enjoying them so much. A couple of dark headphones that compliment each other well is what they are imo

Got them! Payed 299ā¬ from Amazon marketplace Germany, the seller has 9 pieces left if Iām right.
First impression: That feels very premium. The packaging, the paperwork, the headphone itself. The quarter inch adapter is crap, has loose contact. Who cares. First listening (5 minutes 
) seems very promising! Iām curious what I think after adjusting to them and burning them in!
Waiting for mine. Should be here tomorrow or so. 
I think they would need more clamping force to properly seal around the ear. If i press the cups slightly to my head the bass elevates a lot. Dont know how its intended to be. I will not try to bend to headband just yet xD
What pads are you using? For me the suede pads provide a better seal and the bass is much more pronounced as well. Sounds like you might like those too. Glad to hear first impressions are positive 
Just sold my other copy of the carbons on ebay. Gotta go ship them out either today or tomorrow. Hope the person who bought them loves them. Definitely one of my favs.
hmmmm, as don asked what pads are you using? i canāt say iāve ever had that problem but it is true that they donāt feel necessarily super clamped. the suede do clamp better
I have the suede pads on right now. It is indeed a little bit better with these. I will see how it feels over time. Probably I will just bent the headband a little bit in the future to get a little bit tighter clamp. I have a small head

I have bent the headband to tighten it up (now its my headphone hahaha!) And tried to make the comfort strap thicker. Just wrapped something around it and it actually works quite good. I have to figure out how to do it properly, but for the first test its promising. The problem is that I have a small head and I donāt have the largest amount of space between the top of my head and where my ears begin. That makes comfort sometimes a bit uneasy for me. My LCD2-C are on the smallest config too.
With my testing I got much subbass, which was completely missing before.
Iām happy that I have bought them. I was wondering about the ādifferentā presentation that these should have.
I had the what the fuck moment after switching from the nighthawks to my 6XX in on of my favourite tracks 
But I really like how they sound so far!
Iāve been using that NewFantasia cable for the past week and it made me realize how much I fucking hate the stock cable. For a company that makes ridiculously expensive cables, I still canāt believe they shipped it with that.
Anyways, new cable works great for how cheap it is. Definitely wonāt going back to the bulky ass stock cable anytime soon.
