They have been discontinued, so you are pretty much going to have to look used

I havenāt really felt the need to go off the stock pads for them so I canāt really say, I know other people on here might have messed around with pads though. I think I saw someone using eikon perf that liked those, but Iām not too sure how that would affect the sound

I have the Eikon, and they came with suede and the stock, i may just get the eikon lamb perf. Anyone ever put the suede on the hawks?
I prefer just standard Brainwavz Suedes at this point. Slightly more comfort for me as the hole is larger. Also its slightly sharper, but once I acclimate its np at all. Hard to go from smooth treble with the 95x to sparkly peaks in the Nighthawk.

Donāt know if this belongs here, just thought Iād share. I went to try out the Final Audio B3 IEMs the other day, and they sound to me like the IEM equivalent of the Nighthawks. Although they claim to be mid focused, the way they reproduce soundstage and space absolutely reminds me of the first time I tried the Nighthawks, that uniqueness.
I only had a couple of minutes with them at the store so I might be absolutely wrong and out of my mind, but I will never forget the feeling I first got with the Nighthawks, and that feeling, I got it with the B3.

Gotta make another love post about the hawks. Seriously just jamming right now on these. Listening to Khrungbin, just on my v20. Reminds me of my band days. Iām grooving on the bass, in the pocket with the drummer. And my brother killing it on guitar. The hawks just put me back there in the room. Must be that speaker like presentation. Not crazy detailed, just like in the basement jams haha. Just great. Something about these headphones, I tell ya what. I have the Clears,Eikons, Elegias, and Hexv2, and they just donāt give me that nostalgic kick. Eikons are close though.

are there any FR charts of the original NH vs the NHC? and FR when you swap the pads?

Iām loving my NHC! wicked sounding on the iFi Zen DAC. canāt wait to get my 4.4mm M Pentacon to XLR F interconnect to plug them into the balanced out. when I got these, they came with a balanced cable as a free add-on.

I think there are some but honestly I donāt think the graph necessarily tells me much about them.
Assuming I like the weird sound signature of these do you guys think they are worth $400 (only price i can find available)? I know its subjective and only I can truly know but just out of curiosity.
The og or the carbons? I think somewhere in the 300-350 range are a more fair price
the carbons. Iām only seeing a couple on ebay and the one that is 350 is missing the leather pads.
Hmmmmmm. Just recently a few days ago I have seen some sold for the 250 range on avx and headfi, so perhaps wait a bit
