I measured Michael’s Olina on my setup. I agree, real hard to upload measurements to other sites and expect them to align. Doesn’t stop me from doing it, but it is not a great idea. As a rough idea, it is ok.
I think Akros/ @Tonytex_Teixeira may also be able to answer questions as he has all of them.
I think the exclusive to a store model works in some cases, but out here in the weeds of IEM-land, it really limits discussion of sets like Airship. I mean the intersection of folks who got an Airship and lead discussions/post/tweet/answer questions on various platforms is not a big number. HBB is an outlier as he is everywhere, all the time.
Love this Iem. It is well tuned and is a great all around er. You can play this for hours. I would rec but I am not a reviewer so take this with a grain of salt. I do urge you guys not to miss this Iem . I am a long time audiophile and now a 2 year Iem guy. There is nothing that is perfect or for everyone but this deserves your consideration. Now about that Machina could be the one to get me to pop the dough. We will see bet it’s dam good.
I received mine today and initial impressions are I wish the was more sub bass. That is with the epro tips so gonna start tip rolling and see where I end up
The new graph didn’t change from your first one right? I just got my set in today and am currently listening to them. So far I don’t think I got a set with the wrong filters. They would be very shouty and sharp right?
I was cleaning the tips for my pair of Meles, and I did a rookie mistake when I went in the nozzle cavity. By the looks of it, I pushed a filter into the driver cavity. I am digging for my Mele’s box by the time I’ve posted.
Update, i could not find my box. My silly ass must have thrown it away for whatever reason. However, I did manage to fix the filter. Hopefully, I don’t hear any changes. This was a lesson learned.
Late reply, but I have both the Focus EDM and the Mjolnir MK2. The EDM has more subbass and midbass. It bumps hard.
I’ve been A/B’ing them against the OH10’s, TFZ No.3, and Variations. In terms of just bass I’d rank them like this
EDM
Mjolnir mk2
TFZ No.3
OH10
Variations
If you have a good amp and want something that will play louder bass, the Argon Mk3 slams hard and goes LOUD with bass. Maybe if they were volume matched the EDM might have more bass at a lower equal DB, but cranking the Argon up, will play louder and the bass literally hits your face it slams so hard. They shake on my head each bass hit when it’s cranked up that loud.
