Hi, have you ever try shozy rouge? I like the form and design but what about the sound? Having a yin t4 now, does the shozy worth a try?

I have never tried that set…oddly enough

ThieAudio L4 is about ready to launch though

I just purchased a set of legacy 5’s…would these be pretty decent for live performance use? If not…any suggestions in the same price range?

You’re looking for something for stage monitoring or listening to live recordings?

I think the L5 would work unless you find something you dont care for about them at the volumes you’ll require for monitoring.

I would try them since you own them and see if/what you would like improves.

If you’re just looking for something neutral and even handed, you could spend less than L5 and get a single DD or all BA. You dont need great tonality, just detail and nothing to unnaturally stand out or irritate you if using them at quite high volume.

I know the Sony M7 is a good option, but I’m sure there are similar all BA alternatives with detachable cable, that are detailed but smooth for less money.

Should I hold off on buying the Clairvoyance? Literally at the ready to spend my entire paycheck on the CIEM version haha
But if the L4 is the same tuning but cheaper… not so sure anymore

If that graph is correct, the L4 might have even a smoother/more consistent treble response than the Clairvoyance which is known for many to have an ideal tuning. Can’t go wrong with either as you can see from their graphs.

Clair has good implemented EST in treble. The L4 on 1st listen is quite good. Thie has really matured with their subtle tuning variety between sets.

how much does the legacy 4 cost?

L5 is $250 so below that and above L3. Not sue yet. In that range is probably a good assumption.

All these incredible TA IEMs, yet I’m still stuck here continuing to thoroughly enjoy my L3s :man_shrugging:

How does the L4 compare to the Mangird Tea in your opinion, worth the wait or better to buy the Teas?

If L4 uses Knowles and/or Sonion drivers on all 3… I Will Buy them… If not I Will pass once again.
