On the es100 (and probably q5k), the app let you choose to skip the power stream, so the phone does only data. Power is then handle by the dac’s battery, and the power limitation on the phone is obsolete.

But there’s no battery on the Cayin RU6 (it’s “just” a dongle DAC)…

I just received the Focus EDM.
and after the first song I was like “well, I certainly had higher expectations for bass”
But they have such a weird fit for me, almost too small. I changed tips for the Sedna Crystal, and here is the slam!

Cayin RU6 sounds very promising out of the box.
It can feed the X without trouble and I guess I prefer it to the W2.
