I see two different tunings for this on your squig site, which one did you settle on @hawaiibadboy ?

It depends on how the sample I sent back to China is done. Both are good and substantial improvements on the original which had a focus on about 8Khz which would never fully go away. It’s gone now :+1:

sleek look.
It makes me realize I just have one recessed 2 pin cable.
I guess there are adapters to convert normal .78?

Just use normal 2 pin ones  also has a better fitment for my ears cause qdc connectors always pinch my ears

It will work with any .78

Depending on cable it might look better than the qdc type

@DuerumBen , I have same issue sometimes.

Hi and happy new year,
It is great that we will, at long last (an eternity by KZ standards), have a new DQ6 and a well tuned one. What changes should we expect apart from tonality corrections ?
Cheers

Thanks and Happy New Year to you too. I will go over it when I do my vid and I have to confirm my tuning is what they get back. They should have it in a day or 2. So it is a WIP until that confirmation.

Congratulation.

Thank you.
Fine, I understand. In case of driver overhaul or replacement it will be interesting to know in the vid. I believe the 10mm DD in the DQ6 was the XUN from late 2020, and they have released sets with new tech (triple magnetic in CCA NRA, “ultra-thin” diaphragm in CCA CRA…)

I love Godzilla.
That’s the wrong set though
Maybe someone playing with photoshop…

Its the second cristmass today, the orthodox one. So happy holiday to ones that celebrate it, i know there are few here and there  .

I would agree, at least compared to other bt dac/amp i have, the UP2. But i call it added weight or fuller sound, and i kind of like it on the Timeless. Depending on mood i do switch to UP2 which doesnt have that and is bit more detailed with the timeless.

I see you edited the reply , but i do see what you wrote in my notification and feel the urge to answer  .

Id say i fully agree with that sentiment, but since in the end the set costed me realistically about $85-90(or less if you count the gifted cable at msrp) why i said i cant complain. Negative sides were described and up to the beholder is it worth dealing with such shortcomings and at what price.
If it were to cost me $189 i would definitely be very unhappy.

My man. How you bro?

It’s a pretty dope set. Not as slammy as Mele but more detail.
Mele - Warm engaging $49
Olina - tight, precision $99

Total for both sets $150 :boom:

Can i still get a punchy instrument and thick hit drum with olina?

Bass is accurate and is potent when it is called for.
Doesn’t hit hard like Mele. Hits same as 02. Kick drum is fine :muscle:
