Alright, help me out here @hawaiibadboy: there’s a Canon owner on Head-fi claiming that the Canon has better imaging and timbre than EJ07m…I get that YMMV, but these are pretty bold claims, so I want opinions from someone I trust. What are your two cents? 
With my library I’d disagree. I think Canon is better than TEA but not EJ07M
@77dB with my library no. I think 07M needed more kick so the Kinda Lava was born.
07M and Variations with the tucked mid bass lead to a clean replay with excellent imaging.
A Psychoacoustics illusion since these are earplugs.
I can get the timbre part though for same reason. The lean / dry replay can seem to create non authentic timbre. Canon has the right amount of midbass in all configs pretty much

Has anyone done any comparison between the Xenns Up and JQ Hua Jiang? Graphs look extremely similar and I’m not sure how to more deeply analyze it.
I currently own the Up and absolutely love it. Which has me looking at the Hua Jiang. Just wondering what might make it different and if it’s worth it? Don’t want to end up with something to close in sound.
If they’re very similar tuned shouldn’t you get a different set? Just curious since there most likely won’t be a huge tech difference 
I would recommend against buying a set with similar tuning tbh man. The UP Is fantastic for that hard hitting bass. Maybe try a set that has a different sig? You’ll be able to alternate depending on what you’re feeling for a particular day, ya know?
Wow i couldn’t find your review for u18s so i bought them used. I wish u would review them to help your audience save time and money.

I’m not one to put what my ears hear and how I feel about an IEM into words well. But, let me at least say the Yanyin Canon is something special for its price. I’m listening to it with dip switch 3 on. It’s bringing as much joy as my Lava and Up. Definitely has some shortfalls in comparison but, for its a price it’s putting a huge small on my face. Thanks all who brought this into the light for me.

Probably should but, I couldn’t resist. Different DD driver material I believe and two extra BAs. I can’t help but think though they graph similar there’s audible differences. Sold some old gear I didn’t use much for its value and bought a small boat load of IEMs. My addiction persist. I must hear them our I’ll always be wondering. To many great choices to check out.

My item they marked as shipped hadn’t moved anywhere according to tracking, around the same time I reached out they got in touch to say due to some kind of security check the parcel was returned and would have to be sent out with a different tracking.
And then this happened:
In the past I believe they used DHL, this time UPS, but dang, whichever tier of delivery Penon use with them is like nothing I’ve ever seen.
The 8th was the original delivery date, I was expecting a later one. Somehow they’ll be here in 2 days, still earlier than the original delivery date. I’m not used to this. We have a track meet so who knows if I’ll even have a chance to use them when I finally get home exhausted, but they’re coming to work with me on Friday that’s for sure! (Canons)
