The position of the Audio Lokahi in your ranking list is a bit surprising. You were sounding quite confident when you said itâs the best BA set youâve heard to date, yet it sits below the QDC, Moondrop and Fearless multi BA sets.
Elaborate?
Itâs my favorite all BA set. That list gets a big update 4 times in a year. It hasnât been and wonât until April.
The Lokahi was added. Thatâs it.
So its current position doesnât truly reflect your thoughts on it in relation to everything else.
Thanks for clarifying!
@hawaiibadboy whatâs your IEM pick for best SUB-BASS?
Specifically, I want the first 20 secs of this song to r u m b l e without losing all the fine details in the treble that image all over
EDIT: I have and love the Clairvoyance (based on your rec, thanks!), but it seems to be more mid-bass. The L3 do a better job with that song, but I wantâŚwellâŚMORE
Sony N3Ap
Sub bass over mid bass (clear to the ear), good tonality, can get the subtle details
bookmarked, thanks!
Lots of hype right now surrounding the Jotunheim 2, particularly with the Bifrost 2 being suggested as a better DAC than the multibit DAC option in the Jot.
Iâm looking forward to your review!
Iâm just getting it because of the power
Zeos has been hyping headphones and earphones more intensely and frequently lately. He always has, but it seems like especially much now.
He tried an IEM called Tri Starlight 4 .
His notes arenât detailed, but heâs infatuated with these things. Seems at least very promising from a âfunâ listening standpoint.
Iâm real interested if BGGAR got his hands on these to review. Is it worth complementing in a collection alongside Clairvoyance, or is it a replacement for them? Trying to preserve my wallet here.
By both Frequency Response and configuration, the Starlight looks to basically be Tri/KBearâs version of the Shuoer EJ07, albeit with slightly-steeper treble roll-off. Iâve never seen anyone do a direct comparison, but they seem to be very similar.
Heâs got mortgage to pay now⌠not calling him a shill, not saying his opinion is wrong, but when you have companies sending you products, supplying coupon codes for sales, and ect. you canât just shit over everything. He needs free gear to make videos (and thus money) from, and if he doesnât cover certain items on sale from these stores, he might not receive gear from them.
The IEMs probably are excellent, but donât get drowned in the hype. Gotta take things with salt.
Hey BGGAR like have you tried any Radius iems from Japan. The hp-twf41 seems pretty nice with a bery driver in it. Just curious since there are smaller manufacturers over there.
And If you can try some Intime stuff as well would be nice.
Both intime and radius have iems with a DD+piezo driver setup.
Itâs a remake of EJ07 but not quite as good. Have heard it and another variant. Confirmed with maker (not seller) of variants. Nothing wrong withthat if all parties are fine. EJ07 is still the best executed variant in my opinion.
Thanks for the insight!
