Yeah. 64 has some of the most overpriced wastes of money they call iems in the market.
I almost have to stop buying your recs that cost less than $300 because i get pissed every time i think about the money i wasted on U18s. I could have bought an entire chifi collection for the money i wasted.
I will take a $200 ex800st with tape mod over $3000 u18s any day of the week. Tuning on u18s is off and sub bass is often nonexistent.

I bought a mmcx to sony connector and bought a 2pin to mmcx to connect to the connector. Works like a charm.
I can’t believe how awesome the ex800st sounds. For hip hop and rnb it’s s tier. I can hear all the instruments and they’re separated.
Been listening to it all day 8+ hours a day. That’s coming from a guy, me, i usually only listen to music when i work out. A hour a few times a week.

I was extremely pissed about the original U18. It was an extra 6BA over U12 and about 12-$1500 more.

Do you know where I can buy the ex800st’s? Also are they 3.5?
amazon japan or ebay for example.
They have a replaceable cable, not 2pin/mmcx but their own “EXK” connector. There are adapters for it though.
(EX800ST and EX1000 use the same connector.)
