Interesting, I appreciate you sharing your experience! The MM definitely are pretty tip dependent from my time with with them and like you said, the open nozzle definitely does not help. I’ve found that Sedna Earfit Max tips work well with their sound sig, not to mention, they also have a built in mesh guard to protect the exposed BA - it’s a win/win

A bit more mid bass than I hoped but still looks nice. QKZ x HBB alternative?
Might grab it down the line if nothing interesting else interesting comes out.

Very interesting. Wonder how x-over in legato is done and how that would react for some impedance adapter 
Coming back to maestro mini - I would most likely buy it to keep in IEM rotation as slamming if I would increase my audio budget overall from 1,5k → 2,5k.

Yup, you really need a good source to properly drive em clean though. I gotta check which amp dongles do it easy and which ones do it bad. Not sure why my 75 Ohm didn’t really show a diff?

Yo does anyone here have any experience with the Shure KSE line? I’m trying real hard to convince myself I don’t need it, even though it’s the only true electrostatic iem.

Oh interesting, I didn’t know Stax had tried their hand at iems. Yeah, that fit looks mighty sus to me, and part of the appeal of the shure is not needing a big energizer to run it.
All the same lately but the Truthear Hola was still the best standout.
Not sure where HBB was going with saying it has a different tuning?
New doesn’t mean better and the DOLCE its FUGLY.

Well even a better comparison. I ordered a set and will compare and graph when it gets in. Y’all follow all this way better than I do. I’m just over hear going Wild West on buys and releases. Shooting from the hip like the old days.

The singularly most uncomfortable iem on the market !
At least the Shure looks and fits like an iem.
By all accounts you need the top range shure with the peq built into the energiser.
