I deliberately measured the Kailua with a deeper fit also because this is much closer to how I heard it in my ears. It’s one of the cases where 8 kHz resonance matching can be misleading. Basically, it doesn’t sound as much of a roller coaster as the first graph may suggest. It’s smoother to my ears.
