Thanks, Mr. HBB. Respect right back… As a native San Franciscan teenager, I was very fortunate to see all the major bands of the late 60s live right in the front of the stages. C.R.E.A.M was one of the highlights, right behind the Stones. I knew all the local illuminati growing up under them. Magical time for music - all new.
Today I took a trip to my local audio store, and brought a proto out for people to try for the first time ever. Absolutely nervewracking, and I don’t think that feeling ever goes away. Probably lost a litre in sweat, 34C weather aside.
Ended up demoing a few Noble products in the meantime, the Spartacus and the Ronin. Should’ve tried more but got distracted in conversation with people there. But part of the fun of the hobby is the people you meet!
What’s been in your ears lately?
That…
Looks beautiful bro
Is that resin or pla?
It’s a hard resin bro. Yesterday I tried to polish the case, today I will bring it to shine. Now a new design of the case is being printed, I will try to add blue sequins in the grooves and fill the lid with acrylic.
We are legion
That looks insanely awesome…wow
Fixed it for the ages and cos err OCD.
Just a bit of fan art from somebody excited for their next purchase but if the use of pics/logos is an issue let me know
Oh man,I dont care…that looks dope!!
What country do you live in bro?
You a Basshead…a real basshead?
I just started modeling my own set…my business partner without hesitation told me I was wasting my time…that there was no money in that venture
STFU…it’s not for anyone else…it’s for me bubba
Good luck in your endeavors! I use Fusion 360, a very convenient and simple program.
I’m in the U.K
I grew up in the shadow of massive attack, prodigy, matrix ost coming about. So I’m that disillusioned early 00’s kid hit with that special wave of electronic music. My cousin taking me to see my favourite band at the hammersmith apollo was the first time I heard a live band. It was a happy moment.
I sat for days, with a simple EQ and the Squigs chasing that feeling from those days…that ‘live’ music’ feeling at a medium size venue/club. And no matter whether it’s rock, electronic or classical, I think it definitely necessitates basshead territory personally to bring out the dynamics and enjoyment. So basically yeh…I think I am lol.
I use Solidworks 3D…very intuitive program…it’s what I use at home…I use something completely different at work…proprietary program funded in part by Lockheed Martin
Lockheed Martin…
Damn
I need to check it out for another mad build in future…
Gotta add Portishead and Tricky to that UK skool of dope artists
what are those monitors
Sorry dude…it’s only available to current employees of LM…somehow the license just stayed on my computer after I left…ahem…since I’m a former employee…woops
