Bad Guy Good Audio Rankings and stuff (under construction) (Part 2)

That is a good looking set; will be interesting to see how you compare it to the rest of the lineup.

For something different, this popped up last week. Never heard of Xanadu Audio before but he’s right, the aesthetic is great.

Not sure I had to look at an image of the box to see the driver config.

Not a great intro into western market. For that kinda cash someone somewhere has to list it in English or…the Western market is of no concern to them as it is super niche’. And that does happen

Hey Chris just put the Khan in my ears first listen.

First take:
CAR AUDIO BOOM SYSTEM IN YOUR EARS!

DUAL 12" Firing at your back in a big ole ported box, some mids and tweets to hear voices. Love it , not my preferred tuning any more; but just for the pure boom fun factor love theese things well done sir!

My Old trunk with the JL Audio 13W7 $2000 Sub OMG that thing rocked in a

fiberglass tub in that Volkswagen Golf!

Theese IEM’S are pure gold just for the flashbacks they give me.:heart::heart::heart::heart:

Spent some time tonight with the sub $50 3 I bought and thought I would share my thoughts.

Kiwi Ears Cadenza
TinHiFi C3
QKZ HBB Khan

All sound from my IBasso DX160, to Loxji P20 amp balanced cables

I listened to a whole bunch of song from
Crystal Meathod , Rush, Fleetwood Mac,
Sting Symphonisities album, Keesha, Tu PAC, and Hania Rani to name a few.

I prefer a elevated Sub bass and mid bass replay with a darker trebble with good air. I am a bit trebble sensitive and would way prefer a fun more musical sound.

My take away as a comparison for me.

Fit, Winner C3 by a long mile, they melt into my ears, the shape is perfect and I get the deepest fit. The Cadenza’s shape is great too small but lacks any fin.
The Khan has a long nozel and the fit for me is the worts not very comfortable.
Again this is my ears not yours and of course completely subjective.

Fun Factor for bass heavy library goes easily to the Khan.

Easiest to drive Winner goes to C3 on the sources I tried
E1DA-SG3, iBasso DX160, Shanling UP5,

Smoothest Sound Winner Cadenza by alot. > C3 > Khan

Male Vocals Cadenza > C3 > Khan
The Khan Vocals are a bit recessed with the lesser mid bass as expected.

Female vocals winner Khan again see above.

Stage and micro dynamics again go to Cadenza > C3 close second > Khan

Overall I think the Cadenza is best value for a all-rounder if you could only get one for a variety of all kinds of music library and of course the Khan for what it does best as a in ear car boom system.

I was really hoping the C3 would somehow outshine the Cadenza because I love the fit so much but honestly I would rather put the Cadenza in my ears the most.

Nice write up, man! The Cadenza is definitely a good set for what it is I must admit.

Now I am A & B Xenns Up vs EJ07M
I love both of theese so much.

I asked for a +3db sub bass boost on the M tuning when I got the EJ07M KL reshelled. I don’t have graphing rig yet but they definitely came back with more bottom end.

The UP is more sensitive and easier to drive.

The UP is a more intimate presentation that actually works for the overall tuning and is unique the graph doesn’t match the sound.

The EJ has a more 3D stage that makes it borderline distracting you get pulled into its orbit and keep getting wowed by its presentation rather than just chilling with the music.

The UP has more snap and slam even with my retune on the EJ07M’S.

Both of theese IEM are very special in thier own way.

I would hate to choose one over the other I love them both.

EJ07M’S driver flex still sort of bothers me that at this price range they couldn’t figure this out.

I feel blessed I own both theses amazing IEM’s.

If I could buy only one … The UP would get my money.

DUNU SS Tips and new KBEAR graphene Silver plated cable LOVE THE FLAT 2 PIN.
