The Kahn what a fitting name. Another epic release by the one and only bad boy. The Kahn has a club like sound feeling to it. Extremely fun headbanger tuning. I was scared about ordering from QKZ because older sets had garbage tier look and feel. But no the whole package is more than adequate for it’s price. I like the sturdy feeling 3D printed shells. QKZ dialed their standards up quite a lot.
The sound
The Kahn eats the Zero alive. I was very disappointed when I received the Zero after everyone raved about that supposed “subwoofer feel”. To me the Zero sound veiled, recessed and off. Like it had constipation. In my opinion with that kind of tuning either you go all in and match the bass peak with the pinna gain like the Kahn or you end up with a half way there Zero tuning that doesn’t know if it’s fish or meat.
In short the Kahn delivers what the Zero promised.

Thanks for feedback. Sales are booming and getting a lot of love. Have had some issues with a few that are as hard to drive as a truck with no brakes.
This was meant to be the head banger of my collabs and it fit in their nicely.
another version of an Aria…or a dedicated subwoofer 2DD was the easy choice.

That is going to be over $8000 
out of the box my Khan was fine off a A90D then I switched to a Hiby R5 Saber and it sounded wrong swapped to balanced and it was better, I’ve been letting it burn in a couple days and it seems better but haven’t A/B’d recently
wish the nozzle wasn’t so dummy thicc a lot of my tips don’t fit or are a struggle to get on
sound wise they seem solid for the price

That is so true in 2023 if this was 2020 we would have said $400+ ok ok ok nice let’s go.
Going to have to be special now with so many great sounding sets out under $50!

Holy bajeezus … these better have some special tech inside to justify those price tags because for $80 I can buy the Hexa and that has 1 DD +3 BAs and In my humble, non-reviewer opinion. They sound fantastic.

I may be the weirdo here, but I tend to think the opposite: high price for a 1ds+2ba set tends to prove that :
- they used quality stuff
- they are sure of the tuning quality
People, don’t forget that a quality mono-Dd can largely outperform 8 BA sets.

Driver prices are all dirt cheap anyway…its definitely not that. (especially DDs and BAs.)

I see there’s a QKZ x HBB Khan. Any words on this? Looking to sidegrade my olina with more bass for edm and house music but keep the same clarity to some degree. Grahphs look equal with more bass and a little more treble 
I just got the Khan in the mail today. Just opened the box and am listening to the Wood Brothers. Very good so far…and I was listening to the UM Mest Mkii right before.
