I highly doubt that the DD from the Hexa has the same sound of a DD developed from Aroma Audio. These are not guys that bought a cheap DD from others, they paid sound engineers to develop a new DD in house. Take as example Softears Twilight (more than 900 dollars) and DUNU Zen Pro (~ 900 dollars), both single DD. Btw I know these iems are obviously overpriced, but pls don’t compare DD of cheap brands with DD of premium brands.
I’d say it’s a worthwhile sidegrade. The tuning is different enough, and the sub-bass slaps on the Khan. If you want feel free to send me 2 or 3 tracks and I’ll listen to them on the Khan for you
Fair enough - I’m just simply stating that the tech inside better back up the price tag. That’s all
I’ll give it a listen and let you know after work!
Man did you buy the Camelot? Review incoming? Thanks.
I did. Reserved and will purchase after a wire transfer.Am considering a couple other sets
That Traillii Ti woulda been 1 but I already have 2x of those and $8000+ for same thing in metal is trophy hunting.
I do that sometimes but …mmmm probably skip the Ti but buy the Camelot
@hawaiibadboy bro I don t know how you did this at this price point but damn this is fun and making me bring out my bass music and having fun, first the Heyday for classical and now this for bass fun thanks dude, where would I go from here for a more refined version upper tier? I def like this 2DD setup
This was made to divert and add variety to my collab library.
Spoke with crin way back. Talked with company.
Went for a set that would shine on my Hip Hop/Trip Hop stuff.
It hammers…absolutely thunders.
Subwoofer is the start of show. My personal fave of my collabs. Glad you like it.
It will NOT give a meaty bassline but it will do drops off an 808 Roland and mixed at rap a lot or Deat Row like a champ
None of my collab do this…
quite like Khan
Thanks for the trust
Ya dude I’m all in on this style, so glad you made a bass head set, even solo cello and ensemble classical I enjoy, the treble is just right.
For a refined tuning based on 2DD I think Crins project Red is a set that will be close to Moondrop Variations or a derivative of it.
I really REALLY am down with the dedicated subwoofer layout so hold up a bit and wait for Crins set to drop for a more broad in genre set. I will also revisit the 2DD layout cuz it is the best IMO
Right on and I totally agree, I love this set so far but instantly I was like I wonder what he could do with a heyday budget, I’m down. Doing electronic justice for sure. Patently waiting
I knew the Khan would work for a lot of people. I’m starting to come to the conclusion that my first impressions of the set were hindered by a poor seal … happy they’re working for you @11_Clouds ! Your contribution to the electronic music thread cannot be go unnoticed, it is I M M E N S E
Ok that’s a funky mix What the hell is that a gong/steel drum and the Bass line love it thanks!
This track was introduced to me at a car audio competition (IASCA) dB drag,
Has some really fast BPM synth kick drums.
Those Kitchen pots though chef kiss
Well that really piqued my interest!
Yeah like where do you get one LOL?
