There’s so much narratives pushed about rig measurements being the end all in how something sounds, like all the subtlety and understanding about variances is lost now and days.
Next time someone says a graph looks too spicy at 5Khz remind them to look around or check Crins tool. It might be some dude with a wild ass 711 mic and nothing more.
Even more facinating is folks doing reviews and citing nooks and crannies as the reason to stop and go
I khow a few rviewers who hover on graphs and extrapolate way waaaaay too much while pointing at a graph that might be (50% chance) skewed…right where they are pointing in a vid.
