Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews (A Million views?) Part 3/4

17 Tracking. The FF tracking was F&cking useless, however, the 17Track was spot on.

Packageradar.com is also a great tracking aggregator, I almost always use it for anything international until it lands CONUS.

None of the tracking services provide any data for my Deuce order. SF Express, 17Track, packageradar. No information since it “shipped” on Oct 8. This is so frustrating.

Same. No info on any those tracking sites. I usually use 17Track also.

If it’s anyone didn’t have to wait, it was the first few hundred that bought on just trust .
This just proves that you don’t need a forwarder if you send items as the order came in. Almost looks like making sure the majority of the first 7000 gets their stuff at the cost of the first few hundred. I’m salty because of the lack of follow up and updates/transparency from them/FF.

I’d be salty and freaking. People got every right to be pissed

One for me, one for my partner and we both love this release…Not an easy road I will say: After a very bad experience with a ‘‘Scarlet Mini’’ set( over 2,5 months delayed and got an defective set for that price-at that time was my most pricy IEM-took another 2 months to sort it out-a refund and a loss of £80 in postage, tax and fees) we decided to bite the bullet again and go for your collab…then all the waiting…radio silence from FatFreq…also no red tips, or anything else even when we ordered the sets right in the day they hit 150 pieces mark.

So lets cut it short. Do we love the set? YES!!! and I must say this will be my go to fun IEM. Will we recommend it to our friends/ relatives? NO!!! if that involves dealing with FatFeq again…(maybe, if other stores will stock up).

No words left for FatFreq…

Good work in tuning this set BAD BOY, Thank you

Hi! Will you start an AudioAmigoReviews thread here on hifiguides?

That’s the plan eventually. I’ll look into it when I get back from CanJam Dallas.

Naw, I’m asking for the email people used to reach out to fatfreq not a tracking site. My tracking is dead in the water and has no data for the tracking number. So back to the question, which email did ya’ll use to reach out to fatfreq?

Seems like the general consensus is that the Deuce itself (for those that actually have it…) is executed extremely well while everything else surrounding it on FatFreq’s end is a total shit show. I get that they are a small company and a limited amount of people can really hinder progress but that also means that they need to do better. They can’t afford to just brush off negative sentiment with just “oopsie we made a mistake :point_right: :point_left:” like some of the larger companies do (looking at you KZ :face_with_monocle:) It really sucks too because FatFreq clearly know how to make really, really good in ears. All of their “consumer” releases have been great.

Complete side note as I was rereading through; FF’s primary customer base is music professionals right? (someone please correct me if I’m wrong) Could they be similar to Nvidia? In the sense that Nvidia’s primary customers are datacenters and heavy ai computing just as FF’s primaries are music professionals. Nvidia still sells consumer cards but they don’t have to. They already make a shit load of money from the professional space. I might be reaching a bit with this comparison as Nvidia is a multi-billion dollar company but it’s the best I could think of.

The biggest issue has always been self inflicted stuff that distracts from experience.
Shipping and communication

You just made me wonder, did you opened these sets before selling on eBay?..or after? how else you know whats inside? Not pun intended…I really want to know what drivers they use and what your source for that info.

I have the drivers in hand since the 2nd sample.
I know what they are and how much they cost.
They are excellent drivers.
Same DD in Scarlett :call_me_hand:
Fatfreq doesn’t skimp there.
