Ordered thru Linsoul at the end of July and my set was delivered yesterday.
As usual, I tried the tips that were already on the nozzles: red silicone, medium. Also per usual, I did not like the stock set, in part due to fit. Upon removing the tips, I noticed how snug they were on the nozzles. So snug, I can’t get my favorite foam tips (comply 400) on them.
Tried some stock tips from other iem’s and they are too small as well. Never had this problem. Now, I’m far from being expert, and maybe didn’t stretch the silicone tips enough? If that’s the case, I would have to use tweezers to hold one or both ends while stretching tip over the nozzle. That nozzle does look larger than my others.
Someone measure nozzle please. And tell me if difficult to install? Thanks and sorry for long post.
This has peaked my interest as well, hoping you hate it so I can just buy the S15 and be done with planar sets ( 4 already ) do think it looks pretty sick though
The services email is the one I have responses from, but random at best, and after several follow ups.
Eli and YEO have responded, not in any meaningful way.
I mean how could they, FF won’t even own the fiasco that they created let alone work a solution, if one were apparent.
I still believe many kits have not gone anywhere, and only a small amount ship daily.
Can you just imagine all the joy triggered each time I see this. Worried of heart malfunction when that needle finally moves hehe. Nah I’m actually calm.
I don’t want to overhype, just to change my mind on things with further listening, so I’ll hold off for now. But tonight’s impressions couldn’t have been better, and have way exceeded what I’d expected. In general the hobby lately has taught me to keep a low bar of expectation and I was ready to hear any slight peeve in timbre or hot spots or bass texture issues… I was ready to find fault. I have a bassy set I like well enough for most situations already.
Partly to protect my wallet, these had to be keepers through and through for me decide to work to find the funds to keep them on board instead of passing them on to recoup funds.
I don’t want to give many details for now in case I find enough caveats later that my first impressions no longer stand, but in summary these are keepers, and I’m loving them. Hopefully I’ll share examples soon.
I’m glad the 1st impession wasn’t a shitshow.
Considering how bad the buy to recieve timeline was, it’s good you selected an iconic name.
People might be sellin that in years to come as the “Your Mom” Deuce.
