Fatfreq is a better name…IMO

received my Deuce with a chip missing from the area where the 2 pin goes in, ive contacted them and awaiting to hear what i need to do. Has anyone had to do a replacement yet and if so how did that process go. Bummer, i really like these, bass is no joke.

And in regards to TSLA…buy buy buy and then buy some more…very bullish…

their real worth and the reason they make up 60% of my portfolio is their power storage and AI divisions…Nvidia can’t keep up with the Blackwell shipments to Tesla…
people are mistaken in their belief that Tesla is a car company…that couldn’t be further from the truth…
they’re a technology company that just so happens to make cars as well

I believe in Elon and his vision…

besides… that fucker and his company have made me rich beyond my wildest dreams

Nahhh mate thats unfortunate! I have seen a few people who also needed replacements and i thjnk some of them got it resolved promptly, i guess you just gotta ping them and hope they get back to you soon enough. Good luck man!

oh man, some heavy mixed feelings have dawned on me…

Firstly, i am absolutely loving the deuce to its core! It performs exactly how i’d want them too, the bass is electrifying!! The price for quality the deuce delivers is something very commendable! (A big fat thankyou to HBB!!!)

But on the other hand, seeing online forums and threads like this one, headfi, reddit etc etc does sink my heart a bit… i very clearly love the IEM’s made by fatfreq, and i truly stand for what they envision in terms of products… but seeing how so many of the customers had to go through a deep struggle does make me sad knowing the company i love is definately not living up to its potential… deep down however, i do trust FF to overcome this somehow and improve and i really really hope it happens very soon! Fingers crossed!

I had a friend who recently ordered a Deuce and is awaiting his order too. Hoping all of them do receive it. It makes me feel luck and grateful receiving mine and by now I have also ordered 3 sets of tips, a Yongse cable and a DAC. The Deuce is def a worthy main set and hope every single one in this community gets to enjoy it.

You might want to check on Facebook. I did see someone needing a replacement. Also, if I am not wrong, I think it was Jay from Jay audio who need a cable replacement or some sort. I think he did mention that on Youtube and he got a response from FF on it that the replacement is otw. You might want to check it out.

Reach out directly to whoever you bought from (I bought mine directly) and show pictures. I got a replacement unit pretty quickly and it was FedEx’d directly IIRC.

The products are great , no doubt about it.
I just cannot understand how badly they mismanage the good stuff that they have.
They got (had?) a good reputation , they are very likeable , their products are great and fill a perfect sweet spot. Even the website is great with tons of contact options and the promise of a small passionate company.
And then… they fuck up the basics like just communicating about issues as they arrive or responding at all.
So much drama couldve been avoided if they just respond to issues :man_shrugging:

That’s a lot of simping for a company that can’t run a business properly. They are very talented IEM makers and that’s it. 2nd release from them that was a shitshow. Mass print SP labels and take weeks for the package to be picked up? Ridiculous.

Yeah you should post everyday till someone answer. What I did was screenshots and posted the sf express it delivered in a day for the replacement deuce and I bought 4.4mm cable. Theres no way I can get the delivery Singapore to USA that fast even with the over night shipping. I said that I would report this and then Ben answered.

I sent a message to their chat every day , i even put on an alarm so i could catch them during singapore working hours. No luck ofcourse.
I sent mails to Yeo and Ellie directly as they DID respond to me for the case engraving , so communication was fine untill the package got sent.
I sent mails to Support@fatfreq and Hello@fatfreq twice now , also no reply
Ofcourse i understand they are busy and i can also understand the +8hrs time difference are difficult at times. But i really hope we can resolve the shipping issue this week. I dont think its that much of an ask :man_shrugging:

Its really quite the shitshow…but now im wondering if anyone had a POSITIVE experience and no shipping issues for those that bought from them directly and not with the other methods that seems to have less issues and if the complaints are them minority and they are still largely positive?

Small update on mine. Initiating the dispute hasn’t caused my tracking to suddenly work, nor has it incentivized them to answer my messages. Next step is to escalate the PayPal dispute and let them deal with PayPal directly, which I’ll do at the end of the week. The initial 20-day period on the dispute is to allow the customer and company to work things out themselves. If I have no way of accomplishing that, there’s no point waiting the full 20 days.
