I have tried the GG sonar, its so underrated imo. Its really good but I recently used Nahimic which also is by steel series. Surprised, they have built-in EQ and sort of “intelligent EQing” whic is def not bad.
Do install Peace GUI together with Equalizer APO

Keep mailing and using the livechat every day , both support and hello@fatfreq. Just 1 message on all of them a day and they hopefully respond. It took me exactly 7 days to get a response.
It made me feel like an ass but at some point shit needs to be taken care of and i dont care if i have to be annoying as F to get it done. Patience and understanding only go so far, especially with customers and a business.

Here’s where I am on mine. Will probably escalate the PayPal dispute later today. Personally, I’m not sending any other messages after those in the screenshot to any other emails or channels. I’m not going to take more time out of my day to chase and beg them to send me something I paid for… four months after I paid for it. If they want to talk to someone after today, it’ll have to be PayPal. It would mean something if they reached out to me with an apology, but I’m not holding my breath.
EDIT:
Just went ahead and escalated. Not much point in waiting until later today since their customer service hours are already over. PayPal is telling me they have until December 4th to respond.

I completely understand your reasoning , it sucks had to get that far. Hopefully something gets sorted or you get your money back without much issue or any more stress on your part.

There is nothing else to do, I’m glad more people are doing it. I also opened a case with PayPal 2 days ago and now I’m waiting.
Such a killer duo, HBB and FF, its a shame that Chris has to watch this shitshow with his name on the IEM.

Quick question.
Do you know where the “Extra” Crossover is on the Punch?
I assume there’s one between the DD and the BAs, and another between the BAs and the ESTs, but where is the 3rd? Between the BAs or between the ESTs?
I thought since the ESTs shared a voltage boost unit they might be wired the same, but I saw some other sets use Dual ESTs with a crossover in-between them.
Just curious.

How do you compare the Deuce to the Punch?

Looking forward to your review on this one, brother.
I’m looking for a replacement to my Titans and at first it was going to be the Deuce, but then I tried it and it isn’t quite there, then it was going to be the Origin, but if I can get away with saving $400 and getting the Punch then I’ll def go in that direction.

I somehow managed to get a Deuce for review.
Scared if it’s going to break, or something.
Any precautions I need to take before receiving the package.
I haven’t had the chance to compare them side-by-side yet. Something I will definitely explore in my review.
What did you find lacking about the Deuce? I can probably try to get you an answer while I’m comparison listening.
For now, here are my graphs, I graphed the Punch after listening most of last night and taking notes. I prefer to listen for a bit and take notes before I graph things.

From linsoul it looks it has a 3-way crossover, so it splits the original signal into 3 (and therefore it has 2 points of section, not 3)

For 1, the fit of the Deuce didn’t really work for my ears, which is the exact reason as to why I’m deciding on giving up on the Titans. The fit. Secondly, I felt like the mids and the treble were nothing special, so it was more of a 1 trick pony in that regard, but the kicker is that the trick, the bass, was phenomenal and definitely some of the best I’ve heard under $1000. The depth, punch, tactility, the reverb… everything about it was great… with the impedance adapter. I guess if you get the 4.4 it’s no big deal considering it’s a pigtail type adapter, but the 3.5mm adapter was laughable in its design imo. It just felt flimsy to me. It’s just another thing to break.
TLDR; I’d like to have a better fitting basshead IEM that has equally great mids and treble, like the Titans. Thanks for all your input!
