For sure, man. It’s all about sharing the love and trying to stay positive. @Jaytiss is a friend and been one of my favorite connections I’ve made this year.
are you planning to get Punch John? Or maybe you have it already? Correct me if i missed it.
I’m enjoying my S08 so far and iirc you enjoyed it as well, so its cool to see you enjoying the Arcadia a lot. Might be my next set, or Tea Pro if I decided to reward myself more
I’ll say here that a lot of people are now carefully reading this thread and asking Fatfreq about it, including some retailers and those who can seriously hurt sales.
Thank you for a great writeup! Appreciate it a lot. Happy that both sets found their place with you.
Was also awesome to learn that you’re a fiction author, so so cool, wishing you the right inspiration.
This is great to hear, hopefully they can’t ignore everything anymore and finally say something. Thank you for your effort, VSG.

Are you referring to the “Designed by FATfreq in Singapore” on the Deuce box?
Any time I see “designed by” or “designed in” I just automatically assume Made in China, although I think we were all under the impression they were making it in-house. I take it this was another rug pull?
You’re welcome, and thank you. 25+ books under my name so far. Most enjoyable and also lowest paying job I’ve ever had, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Had no clue you were an author, I just had a look at your catalogue and not gonna lie the Detective Trigger series does seem pretty intriguing! The Ruby Collar is the first installment in the series?
I was looking to get a younger cousin of mine something for his bday soon, I suppose encouraging him to read more is what I am hoping to do.
It’s or not amazing that FatFuck haven’t posted a full and honest reply on any social media outlets regarding their position with the undelivered pre-paid items that @BearsKz ordered or indeed the deuce debacle…No remorse or official apology…dudes you’ve burnt your bridges with us the audiophile brotherhood, sorry …
Yup. What you said.
Remember the folks who excuse this shit.
In fact, anyone who makes excuses for a company in China or Singapore or wherever, should be fucking ignored.
Go eat another dinner at Canjam and stfu.
11 years in this hobby…have not seen anything like this since TRINITY collapsed.
Another company that hosed sellers and ghosted buyers.
I never woulda believed this is even possible
Yep, Detective Trigger and the Ruby Collar is book #1 in the series. There’s also a deluxe edition available that includes the full series (7.5 books) and some bonus content. Those books are definitely good for younger readers, more so than any of my others. Kids 8 or older should have no issues, or probably as young as 6 if they’re an advanced reader or like having books read to them. Reading is an awesome hobby to introduce to younger people, especially for their vocabulary and visualization. Good on you for making that effort, regardless of the book choice.
Great! He will be turning 11.
And yes its certainly a good habit to have, especially in this day and age.
I will defo check this out. Thanks!
…havent heard this, mind elaborating? Guess thats another brand to the shame list…

Thanks a ton for all that suggestion. Much appreciated. I think ill purchase the Quidelix 5K before any of the FiiO Btr or KA series.
You wont regret it. No one even comes close to qudelix on the software side.
I’ve tried to think about what their motives could be besides greed and my brain just shortcircuits… I really don’t understand.
We know that they are capable of making very good iems. Then how in the everliving hell do they keep fucking up this hard in their logistics, administration and customer service. It’s even weirder if it turns out to be on purpose. And most importantly, keeping silent and pretending nothing happened doesn’t work with the western market, quite the opposite.
The moment when their EN rep Sebastien Chu posted on Head-Fi that he got the boot was the biggest red flag possible. That guy also works for other brands (The likes of Symphonium, Elysian, Fir, etc) and is well respected because of his active engagement with the community and clear communication. It was also that guy that said that things started to get weird at Fatfreq when that new CFO started.
Imagine they communicated properly and made sure logistics and administration went well for the deuce, hell, just prioritize taking care of your customers and keep them up to date wouldve solved most issues.
Imagine how many people would look to upgrade to their new planar or a maestro series iem after trying out the deuce and having a good experience with them.
Its shocking how they shoot themselves in the foot this hard…
