So, this was posted on Head-Fi on the FF thread. Also, Sebastien Chiu is back as a rep for FF on Head-Fi.
This does not address the BearsKz stuff but is just on Deuce.

News article in question:
Itās something, but they are so frickin lateš¤Æ
Iām not really sure it explains the Deuce either. It wasnāt that deliveries were being marked as undeliverable, but the fact that they werenāt shipping a lot of them in the first place. Tracking numbers would sit inactive, then suddenly start showing data months later when they were actually handed off. It could explain a few instances where odd things happened, but I think FatFreq is deflecting to a convenient scapegoat here.
Actually feel for Sebastienš . I am afraid he is going to catch some flak without having anything to do with this mess.
Yeah, I donāt exactly know how this absolves or explains it for FF but was a definite twist.
Just wanted to share since thereās an actual news article on it. It reads that SingPost mishandled things which I donāt think is untrue but doesnāt fully answer the story. Still would love to get that full story.
But, it does seem to be one of the things, as far as an explanation goes, that has been corroborated vs just found via chat or speculation.
I was thinking the same thing. This has deflection written all over it.
How would you explain that people who were within the first 500 would receive a deuce with the updated socket? I refuse to believe that this can all be attributed to Singpost shenanigans. Nor do I believe that FF would just resend orders without any form of notification.
Here is my theory: They flatout lied to Chris about their production capacity. The movie they made showing all the orders to reassure people was faked and/or misleading. Iām willing to bet they had less than a 1000 items ready for shipment. And only a handful of normal customers (probably those that paid for Fedex/DHL like me) got theirs somewhat on time in comparison to almost everyone else. The rest of the items were sent to resellers like Linsoul, Hangout etc. And these past months normal customers have gotten their order at a slow pace that seems consistent with their capacity before the Deuce.
They learned nothing from Scarlet and will learn nothing from Deuce.
So finally i can give the final update of my Deuce journey!
A christmas miracle did happen. After asking again for an update on the lost package, Ellie picked up the case. From that point on communication was great , less than 5min between replies and she promised to get back to me on monday.
On monday as promised i got an email from Ellie that Postnl still didnt get back to Singpost , but that they consider the package lost and would send a new Deuce with fedex priority. Theyād also include my engraved case once more , and a switchable cable and 4.4 bass adapter instead of the standard cable and adapter to make up for my extreme waiting time.
4 days later , the deuce arrived at my doorstep and everything promised is included.
My bday present for august became a slightly late chrismas present instead.
All in all it was a bad experience but thankfully with a happy end. Now i can finally listen to Kendrickās GNX as i saved listening for this set
Well, hundreds of other people who were not that lucky are probably steaming right now reading your post.
Well, congrats! Looking forward to hear your thoughts.
You must have been on Santaās nice list then xD
That is without a doubt whatās happening. FatFreq has zero shame, none.
They are not even trying. And it will continue this way until they face some heavy legal repercussions, or lots of people with voice in the space boycott them and lay out all the facts to the broad audience.
Iām genuinely happy for you man. Glad itās over for you, enjoy the music
I have a small favor to ask. Since youāve got such quick support finally, could you please ask them why theyāve been blatantly ignoring the guy with order number 12620 for over 70 days and counting?
Lmao, I bet itāll be where your conversation stops.
My replacement Deuce is set to arrive soon. I might just leave it unopened and resell it to buy the Kiwi Ears Punch. It seems like people enjoy the slam of the Punch.
Been listening to the deuce a lot and just noticed my cable is showing the copper wire.
So I was hoping anyone can give any advice on a decent cable. 3.5 aux for the deuce.
Appreciate all the help and happy holidays
Can you show a pic?
Most cables are good nowadays, just get one you like the look off. Otherwise XINHS and Ivipq are good recs.
Here is a pic. I appreciate the rec! And the cable still works so was just trying to plan ahead is all.
My cable of choice:
99% Pure Silver Palladium + Graphene Gold Earphone Cable For 0.78mm 2pin - Aliexpress
EDIT:
Iād also send them an email with that pic. They should absolutely replace that for you, whether you ultimately decide to use their cable or not. Who knows, they might not even ignore you. Cross your fingers.
Fatfuck be cherry picking who to reply to.
Appreciate all the info fellas. Will def reach out to them. I was also just curious on what the price on a decent cable was going for. By the way Mr.brogath. thatās a pretty sick looking cable. Thanks for the link.
20 USD is the sweet spot.
Like @Rikudou_Goku said, canāt go wrong with XINHS or Ivipq either. I have cables from both those and like them a lot. Especially for light weight options.
Iād consider the one I linked to be about as premium as Iād want for anything. Itās thicker and heavier than any of the more generic ones Iāve seen, with a better texture and zero microphonics. Main reason I like it so much might be a little strange to some, but the texture is something you can just rub between your fingers like people do with those worry stones. Just calming to my mind for some reasonā¦ your mileage may vary.
I could use some advise. My Simgot EA1000 was one of my first purchases in this hobby and was subjected to a lot of cable rolling. It now has an extremely loose connection of the 2pin to where any cable I use nearly slips right out. Does anyone have a solution? I imagine I can permanently glue(?) a cable connection into place? What could I use to accomplish this?
