That looks sweet! Unfortunately, I’ve got a Garmin Fenix. Think Chris is on an Apple Watch?
I love the internet.
I don’t normally post stuff like this on audio forums, but everyone is hyping their shit and I got some shit.
This is 10,000 ft elevation (over 30 miles) with a max of 13,100ft in one day. This includes about 25 miles above 11k feet. It’s a to the finish or fail kind of thing. The step counter is over 70k and I don’t even know what else. By the end im throwing up and basically brutalized.
Feel free to ignore this off topic post.
71k steps…Beast mode. Beast mode is always on topic especially when stuff is shown.
How can you do that to a burger!?
I get it, though. My Mrs has discovered low carb dieting so we’re both on it now
Chest, shoulders and arms this morning
The picture of Kai with the bball is so gangster!
Well done, bro. Even at my fittest, this sounds like a serious challenge
Hi Chris, not sure if anyone got back to you on this, but i’ve checked with Eason and this is the “mk 2” version of the Helianthus (i believe you did a video on the first version of this set about a year ago), so it’s a planar set. I’ve got no further information on what sized planar driver they are using and all, but i can shoot Eason a text to ask (we’re friendly - i’ve bought a lot of stuff from him… ).
I’ve been a lurker here for quite a while, just decided to create an account as you were getting into the Tigerism sets (they do make decent stuff, i’ve heard most of them thanks to Eason). I’m actually the guy who bought the Titan and the Soranik from you in your Patreon garage sales, so i think you’ll have an idea who i am…
No problem, man! Hope you enjoyed it, super curious what you think!
Edit: just checked, watching the vid now!
Sufferfest! I remember being young Relish every moment!
Lookup Foresty Forest on YT. The man does some proper sufferfests
That looks like a great burger, is it an international chain or somewhere only local to you?
It’s a member only lounge above a Japanese car otaku shop. I couldn’t eat there the 1st time because I hadn’t applied
It might be a chain linked with Lexus/Toyota though they customize most brands
The one with Kai and the basketball literally melted my heart. You’re blessed, my brother
My son and I have been watching the NBA every night when I get home from work. He’s so into it…
By pure chance we found a basketball at the court the other day and we hooped around for about a half hour. Life is beautiful with the little things
I had double Hot suits on today and was drenched. Lost 2 Lbs in just water and a bit of fat
I hear ya. My moments with Kai are the high point of my life. Nothing else comes close
EDIT:
R.I.P George Foreman.
Greatest upset in H.W. history
Tyson losing to Douglas was clear to anyone who watchd Mike ad it was clear by the 3rd Round he wasn’t listening to his corner. It was just a countdown.
Foreman was losing to Moorer and needed to lead him into his bast last chance and he did it.
Tyson’s former trainer was in Moorer’s corner and suspected what Gorge was trying to set up and Moorer who always listened to Teddy…didn’t and Foreman pulled off the shocker.
R.I.P to that man
set to relevant point
Honest question hoping to learn - what’s the benefit of losing water weight? Wouldn’t you regain it from rehydrating? Is it just beneficial to sweat a lot like the philosophy of a sauna?
Either way I’m not sure I could hack it. I hate being uncomfortably warm, would always rather be very cold than even a little over warm.
I don’t even own any “pull over” or quarter zip style sweaters, there are only a few days each year where I wouldn’t rather have a full zip to control temperature better and let out some heat. So being warm and sweating all over would be peak mental/physical discomfort for me!
About to take the kids out to roller skate/scooter/bike ride, I’ll take my skateboards to in case I get a chance!
None unless you are trying to make weight for a fight or a BB’ing comp…Glycogen/Carbs, 1 gram of Glycogen binds with 3 grams of water…Diuretics kinda nasty and dangerous.
None.
My heartrate climbs faster though when I’m heated and under big stress and I reach a levell where I am burning more calories than if I tried the same workout with temps still in the 60’s and 70’s.
I can do in 1 hour what it would take me 2 to achieve otherwise.
Body heat, discomfort, restricted breathing with a training mask for 1st 15 minutes brings me to “intense” lvl faster.
I like feeling like I’m going overboard and I want to get there fast.
Enjoy the skateboarding
