I think a lot of people (provided they care, given the popularity of Temu, Shein etc.) still associate designed and made in China with low quality across the board (perhaps due to the products pumped out by, again, Temu, Shein etc.). Which is a shame but luckily changing at the same time.

This hobby likes to keep Chifi and Summitfi in separate categories regardless of them being made at the same factory and the nuance is they mean budget when they say Chifi
Been here since 2014 and itās all BS They know which American Singaporean and other countries utilize the Chinese labor and supply chain then gouge the fuck outta their ācommunity ā
Iām glad China put this on front street so people can stfu about the care and quality they deliver because they are other than āmade in Chinaā.

Is there are legit āboutiqueā brands that only imprt the drivers and shell resin
and do the rest themselves and they have to ask for higher prices due to higher base costs.
It like being a local bag maker and charging enough to make it a feasable business while the āBrandsā are just cutting down the overhead via China AND jacking the asking price.
Hence the Tick tok vids because of the tariff.
The message is āYou are ripping yourselves offā
