TSMR Shock. It features the latest Sonion BCDs as I understand.
I haven’t vibed with BC sets previously, but this set is dope. So spacious.
As for your $499 quandary, this is the trouble with having price brackets governing tier lists. I really appreciate the detail and context your previous tier list gave. I wouldn’t blink in putting sets like Z300 right near the top, because $$$ ≠ enjoyment, for me.

It started feeling like a participation award list for me personally so I forced myself to pick the keepers and not even acknowledge the others exist. If there are 10 in a rack and I wanna add one I gotta take one away. I like that pressure. I ditches "S+/S/A/B etc because it …made no sense to me v.s. a straight up 1-10

It looks goofy, I thought, ‘tuning dials, BCDs, this thing is like a gimmick, meme IEM’, but the perception of depth on tracks like Opeth’s ‘Cusp of Eternity’, Jethro Tull’s, ‘Aqualung’, Papa Roach’s, ‘Binge’, is very impressive. Sounds great on XM10, but desktop gear opens up the stage up even more. Not just impressive for the price, just flat out impressive.
Curious to hear your take.

There is no problem with 2x xenns if that’s really how it is and that’s how you feel.
I just kindly ask that if you do a review on YT, compare Top Pro to Tea Pro.
On discord itself I see that many Tea Pro owners are excited about the new Xenns product and would gladly upgrade.
I myself am curious whether switching from 6BA to 8 BA won’t make some analytical sound like Oriveti OH700VB, which in my opinion are less musical than Tea Pro and tiring.

This is why I keep the Nezha on my top shelf together with the other ‘This is a lesson to remember’ sets. I’m ok with Tangzu’s budget stuff like the OG Wan’Er and the more recent Xu Xuan Ji, but their more expensive sets are firmly in Nope-Territory for me.

I don´t think that two more BAs will make a set more analytical, it is the tuning that does that, but two more BA´s could help improve layering and overall refinement

Diminishing returns is crazy real. Don’t have to get that high on the price ladder to realise. I recently bought HD600 after comparing with headphones much more expensive. Yes, some of them performed better in some ways, but it wasn’t enough to justify the price jump for me.
It might seem counterproductive for me in particular to say, but I genuinely think the most a sane person should spend on IEMs or headphones is around 300-500. It’s a shame the real fun begins when you start to lose the sanity a bit
