Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews (A Million views?) Part 3/4

Just watched your Top Pro vid. What I found to be the most telling is actually what you said regarding paying more in the hope of getting something new and exciting. The fact that it rarely ever happens at those prices in really disappointing. Seeing my library genre wise overlaps with yours, I’ll definitely want to see if I can demo it at CanJam London (and try and sneak one across the border back home of course :ninja:)

Exacly, i ask producent on discord:
“Hello, according to the manufacturer, the tuning is different.
Compared to the Tea pro, the Top pro has a wider sound field, more low-frequency dive, more high-frequency extension, and a relatively higher-density listening experience.”

Since Tea Pro suits me very well, I wonder if Top Pro will be equally good for me.

Spent way over $100,000 on Summit fi.
Nearly all of it is gone. Sold, raffled, Charity/raffle.
I have no expectations only hope.

Holding 2 IEM that are 10x different in price but nearlly indistinguishable is just me telling folks who can never and would never pay $5,6,7,8,9,10,000 dollars that in my experience over years and 6 digits in…they actually don’t need to.
I do it for the chance I get lucky.

Seems Top Pro might be a market disruptor and price point fire starter?..

I’m waiting for the price disruption so I can buy an Allegro 2, Mentor, or Amber Pearl for $500 :upside_down_face:
I would be very grateful to Top Pro :grinning:

Tea Pro sounds like the set you send someone who is looking for their first (and only) step-up set.

It’s nice when the hobby can make it easy to get in and get out.

I am going to continue buying summit fi stuff but implying others are missing that final 1% because they are not paying out the nose…nah.

I bought a Top Pro today since I give the one I have now away. It’s my touch grass set. It will sit with my expensive gears

The hobby in reality…

Well yeah, but that’s an US problem, not the headphones themselves lol

I’m so tempted to PTT on the Top Pro to have a listen. Especially since I love the hell out of the RN6 (sitting besides me at all times during work).

But I also just pulled the trigger on a bucket list vinyl and now I have to recalibrate. :joy:

Adding on the Top Pro disruptor discussion, as I’ve been spending a ton of time with it after settling on the right tips. It’s giving my beloved qdc 8SL a run for its money. Whatever perceived detail, techs, etc. I’m picking up on is solid kilobuck territory, in my opinion. Gave it the old Yosi Horikawa treatment as well, and it passed with flying colors.

Spending my Sunday afternoon with my Tea Pros listening to some older classics like Bourrée and Thick as a brick by Jethro Tull and some songs by Rainbow during their Dio era… Loving how this set does the flute and Ian Anderson’s voice. Next up is some Thin Lizzy and ZZ Top. Do suggest you guys who have the Tea Pro’s to listen to these if you guys haven’t… Almost 3 months in and this set has only gotten better. Thanks again to the man HBB for the recc!!

I just revisited Jethro Tull recently and that is such a classic :sparkles:

Different measurement rigs too. Can’t compare.

Comparing different sets on different mics is wildly innacurate
