I dropped $4500 on the Cp622b over a month ago and am still waiting.
And they will drop a flagship in 2 months…that is mentioned as being a tier above.
I have pushed Canpur hard.

That is indeed extremely disappointing. I didn’t even know there would be a new set, which makes it even worse (because they obviously did know they’d release it). That reply you sounds more like a spokesperson wrote it; short and ‘factual’.

That’s why I used the Tea Pros as reference for both. The bass shelf looks very different and that’s not a measurement thing but Ima just blame it on chifi QC

But you did know about next flagship coming this summer (as you mentioned in some video erlier this year) and you do know that the Ti set is a 2023 set reshell and not a “new flagship that will be made obsolete by another flagship in 2 months”.

Knew nothing about a new flagship coming out right behind Ti. The Ti was said to be NOT just a reshell but a slightly different and intentional tuning
My 5000 has been sitting in another persons bank account, the date of delivery is pushed back to June, and before it arrives a set that is explicitly superior is coming out right after.
Why on Earth would I but the 2nd best Canpur according to Canpur when I can wait 2 months…I have waited longer for the Ti

I think in this case you kinda can compare how tea pro is in relation to Top Pro on the same rig and then you can come to the conclusion that they must be quite different No?

I checked my DM timeline with Joseph and he said that stuff was coming in mid 2025. I may have taken that to be the Ti. He may have meant the other one . I can’t share DM so I’ll own that one as me assuming it was Ti

Canpur is a Dutch brand right? Is their stuff also assembled in China?
I think it’s kind of weird that none of the bigger HiFi shops in the Netherlands sell their stuff.
No problem finding 64 audio, EE, Campfire, VE etc, but not a homecooked brand?
Also, I know they are a known entity by now. But not listing your corporate adress, T&C and relevant data on your website is big no-no around these parts.
What I’m trying to say is: I’m annoyed that there is no shop where I can audition Canpur stuff within driveable distance. They’ve been on my radar for a while now, but I want to listen before buying.

On the same measurement rig, two different pairs of the same iem can be compared for unit variance, yes. Same rig, same tips, same insertion depth, otherwise no.
