All of that…
And since you pulled up the graph of my Vulkan on Jay’s squig, I’ll just have to listen to her for a few songs before bed.
Thanks

It’s a very good set. Never suffered from Dunu’s infamous frozen DD stuff.
Love the looks too
I’m enjoying the heck out of the Etude. Fun and funky. A very welcome change. The Septet is also getting some attention. Astral incoming. Nice to hear some different but well done tunings
I dropped $4500 on the Cp622b over a month ago and am still waiting.
And they will drop a flagship in 2 months…that is mentioned as being a tier above.
I have pushed Canpur hard.
Time to talk to them directly in a video.
If you are going to obsolete my purchase, please deliver the set I bought in the time frame that is
On time
Or…hold off on knee capping it till customers who already bought your knee capped set with nearly FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ALREADY IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS…actually get it. Feels like disrespecting your core to spread out…where have I seen this before?
That is indeed extremely disappointing. I didn’t even know there would be a new set, which makes it even worse (because they obviously did know they’d release it). That reply you sounds more like a spokesperson wrote it; short and ‘factual’.
That’s why I used the Tea Pros as reference for both. The bass shelf looks very different and that’s not a measurement thing but Ima just blame it on chifi QC
Oh that wasn’t sent to me, it was posted on Headfi. Way to bleed fans while trying to grow.
This is expensive stuffs. Folks need to respect the money already paid more than the money in future.
This is like Fatfreq.
A likely culprit.
But you did know about next flagship coming this summer (as you mentioned in some video erlier this year) and you do know that the Ti set is a 2023 set reshell and not a “new flagship that will be made obsolete by another flagship in 2 months”.
What’s the fuss about?
Ti ships end of May, there are 5 more days, will see
Your graph looks exactly as graph from Mangird though
Knew nothing about a new flagship coming out right behind Ti. The Ti was said to be NOT just a reshell but a slightly different and intentional tuning
My 5000 has been sitting in another persons bank account, the date of delivery is pushed back to June, and before it arrives a set that is explicitly superior is coming out right after.
Why on Earth would I but the 2nd best Canpur according to Canpur when I can wait 2 months…I have waited longer for the Ti
EDIT: I talked with Joseph Mau and will not Cancel…I’ll likely end up buying both…
I think in this case you kinda can compare how tea pro is in relation to Top Pro on the same rig and then you can come to the conclusion that they must be quite different No?
There, at 5:15 you mentioned next flagship to be mid-2025
Musicteck still says end of may, I was basing off of that, sorry if that was outdated info.
Thanks. That’s the Ti though.
Ah, maybe I misremembered then. I thought you already knew about Ti before this vid and talked about actual new flagship. As a fellow 622b user I’m also looking forward what the new set is going to be
I checked my DM timeline with Joseph and he said that stuff was coming in mid 2025. I may have taken that to be the Ti. He may have meant the other one . I can’t share DM so I’ll own that one as me assuming it was Ti
Either way I am buying both
It must be Autism on my part but I can’t see a thanks anywhere.
The dac dongle was mentioned in video to somewhere lost and sent when found
The DX1 was never going to get sent to the winner of Aether. (That makes no sense )
It was sent to a winner in Cali
The cable? THAT is on me. Sorry
I paid $23 iirc to send free earphones to a stranger
Is saying thanks something folks forgot how to do??
This is one of the many reasons people don’t do giveaways
I feel like that mail is for Hifigo or Shenzen where you actually paid….anything
Clarify the issues
Hey man for what is worth thanks for what you do! The videos and the giveaways.
Canpur is a Dutch brand right? Is their stuff also assembled in China?
I think it’s kind of weird that none of the bigger HiFi shops in the Netherlands sell their stuff.
No problem finding 64 audio, EE, Campfire, VE etc, but not a homecooked brand?
Also, I know they are a known entity by now. But not listing your corporate adress, T&C and relevant data on your website is big no-no around these parts.
What I’m trying to say is: I’m annoyed that there is no shop where I can audition Canpur stuff within driveable distance. They’ve been on my radar for a while now, but I want to listen before buying.
Thanks I’m trying to not stack boxes and hoard stuff but the polite mails pre shipment and lack of. “Got it thanks to you and your Wife “ is crazy rude. I’m going to try and tweak this somehow
@Drefbal I think it’s a HK/China company with tuning guidance and part ownership by the Euro guy
I know all the hobby secrets so I don’t care at all but they might wanna tighten up some stuff like you mentioned
On the same measurement rig, two different pairs of the same iem can be compared for unit variance, yes. Same rig, same tips, same insertion depth, otherwise no.
