It’s like sitting in the living room while your parents argue in the kitchen, knowing everything’s about to change and divorce is coming up.:crazy_face::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::rofl::face_with_peeking_eye:

Niiice, looks kind of like Valhalla shell trickle-down to the MMIV :star_struck: Those faceplates look way better than mk3 too, IMO.

Monarch MK4… I genuinely feel like they won’t be able to top the Valhalla for a good while. Even though that’s a different price bracket, me personally? I’d save up and do the deed for the Valhalla. It’s that much of an experience.

What do you like the most about it? How it ticks boxes for you personally?
I understand it might be hard to describe lol, but just very curious.

As for the new release, feel like MMkIV’s design is such a huge departure from the original, doesn’t fit the name Monarch anymore. MkII was peak imo. Interesting to see the package though.

It is hard to describe but I can do my best by saying the texture and tactility in the upper mid range and female vocals specifically is probably the best I’ve ever heard. The presentation, in terms of the staging and how open it feels, is pretty comparable to open back headphones as well, at least from memory.

I can’t remember too much about the bass but I know it didn’t suck and the treble was insanely natural and incredibly detailed.

I always told my self I’d never spend more than $1000 on an IEM, my own personal rule, but the Valhalla is a set I would break that for in a heart beat if I had the cash. They’re special, no doubt about it.

So, when will Linsoul start charging shipping for digital coupons? The competition is already doing it.

Integrations: Supports Strava and Garmin Connect. Manual upload of activities using .gpx and .fit files are also supported”

Maybe something interesting to you since you got one.

Seems like it’s fixed now.
Still, how does an error like that get pushed to live? That’s some premier ‘idgaf’ attitude.
How many didn’t read on checkout and got charged shipping?

Looks like another week of work that’s gonna make training challenging. But at least I have started the week out right :muscle:

If I were the cynical type, I’d say it might have been them testing a new ‘feature’ to see if it’ll fly :expressionless: But yeah, the stuff that sometimes gets through without anyone spotting it beforehand (I had some wild things happen at work…).

Aye Monarch MKIV…

The plates on the left pair look okay-ish, those on the right pair not so much though… (at least not for something that’ll be around $1000). Feel the Mk3 had a better design IIRC.

That’s a glowing endorsement! I can see why it left such an impression. That kind of upper-mid and vocal tactility is rare, and when a set nails it, it tends to linger in your memory.
