Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews (A Million views?) Part 3/4

I never realised you can go and join a wrestling school at such a young age (or is that just in Japan?). Then again, makes a lot of sense. That way, you ‘grow’ up with it so to speak and it becomes second nature.

I can’t find the local instagram for his school but it starts at 3 years old.

I gave some thought to what you said about how people don’t discuss the heavier topics. I can readily imagine that, like Salguson said, there are those who find it irrelevant in the greater scheme of things. Personally, when there’s something shady going, I want to know because if they do it to others they can do it to me as well. That kind of behaviour is not okay, not even for cheap(er) gear. It’s business and that should be conducted in a professional manner. Yeah, it happens everywhere (see for instance Louis Rosmann’s channel on YouTube on right to own and repair) but that doesn’t mean we should lie down and accept it (again, IMO).

I found a video where a guy interviewed Lee and he said the main purpose of HEX is not the profit :joy:

Karate is considered a cultured sport. Wrestling draws lower level people. Its a stereotype and Kai is going anyway :v:

I live in a really small, slow-paced town where the only option available is karate — which I’m definitely not interested in for my son. What I really want is to get him started in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). I did manage to find a local kickboxing coach in the meantime, but my hope is still to begin his BJJ journey. I’ve even posted ads looking for any local blue belts who might be willing to train him in the basics until an academy opens up — but so far, no luck.

Yeah, he’s a class A dickhead

I was hearing about my set going to the post office day after day until saying where exactly is my set?
He replied

" ja ja ja…I’m eating dinner right now"

??? I paid you thousands of dollars mother fucker
Contacted Crinacle asking wtf is this dude?
my set shipped within hours.

Jay sent a set for repair under warranty but Lee never picked it up and the warranty expired.

On a related note…Piezo drivers are maybe the worst harmonic offenders so making a 5 driver set as a gimmick with those it pretty dumb.

Glad he’s doing it for the love of the hobby and not money :skull:

I see this sort of ppl in my sector constantly. They’re like some sort of parasitic cockroach.

  • Finds some naive businessowner with cash to burn.
  • Promises the world
  • Start doing business
  • Disrupts the market
  • Reality catches up
  • Company goes under
  • Turns out they were filling their own pockets
  • Dissapears
  • A bit of time passes
  • Resurfaces
  • Rinse & repeat

And they keep getting away with it. And I’m not talking chump change here. This is oil. I’m part of a small family business, but I still have +10 million USD go through my hands on a daily basis.

That dude from Trinity/IMR is the exact same kind of character.

Wow, that’s quite the stereotype. I can see how people would find it less flashy compared to karate but lower level is just straight up BS.

He was probably eating lobster dinner paid by all the people who were waiting for their set to ship :dotted_line_face:

Unfortunately due to my issues I have had some fist fights with people who were in a Karate stance and on both occasions it went bad for them.
I want my Son to be able to squash conflict by neutralizing it until an adult or authorities arrive.
I don’t want him to be like me.
Also my neck is wasted from Football and boxing so wrestling (besides his ears) should be generally speaking…safer

I’m no expert but I think that a lot of people who practice combat sports forget that, in a real fight, your opponent will probably not adhere to any rules (and/or they are not the action star karateka they think they are).

t was a tough discussion because my Wife is the local and she was expressing apprehension based on her image and experience.
She’s not “wrong” and I can see with my own eyes how folks could arrive at the assumption but my Son is going to wrestling school.
That was a battle I fought and won.
I often lose :skull:

Wrestling is precursor to Pro wrestling which is very much a underwold controled scene unfortunately so the social image is baked in

Mannn Johnny had a rare gift of transforming songs into something deeply personal and timeless.
His take on Hurt really feels like a man looking back on a life filled with pain, regret, and hard-earned wisdom.
