In case of single DDs this applies to most of IEMs I guess as you said, but there are also fun crap headphones like HD6xx/HD650 that need not to be forgotten

They are local here in Omaha, and I knew a lot of people that used to work for them. They got super cheap on staff, shutdown their campus and the sold the buildings, and are basically operating on about 1/6th of the budget compared to 2 years ago. The bottom line is they got hooked on the revenue from servicing the goverment PPP loans, and they havenāt been the same since.

I am realizing that was their goal.
Put a Scarlet v2 on a the back of a collab and intro bass cannon v2 to the masses.

Yeah, my shipping number is still showing up as the item is untrackable or the shipping number is a 3rd party order confirmation.
Think itās just going to show up when itās ready to show up.

Same here brother and when I asked, I got an email back from Yeo saying it had been collected by the forwarder. So all I have is a FedEx tracking number, but FedEx says they havenāt yet recieved the package. So I assume its still with this āForwarderā who apparently has no accountability mechanism for us to follow up with. So I guess we just need continue to go on luck and hope for now.

on another note, I remember Crin mentioning about how it sucks thatās it all resin especially nowadays and I agree since I love metal shells then I was thinking, would metal shells be better or worse for bass?
Cause I remember liking the bass on both the EW300 HBB and S08

I disagree with crin a lot. Apple dongles are not good enough for all IEM for ex.
The resin being cheap v.s. metal is right there too.
Metal eats bass hits.
Zempre Ears set would never do what it does in an aluminum shell.
I challenge anyone to make an aluminum set slide across a table like what I showed @Anatolyi_ZE set do.
These drivers are size of pinky nails. They cannot create the energy to slam like ASG 2.5/2.0 Zempire/Canpur/ Scarlet or Maestro mini. Fatfreq uses resin/abs for reasons unrelated to cost saving. It simply would be piping bass through nozzle with zero tactile energy.
I would never have done this collab if Faftfreq wanted metal shells.
They never woulda tried that. They know their crowd

thatās what I was thinking would happen so Iāll remember that for when I buy sets in the future lol, Iām glad to know they chose that route willingly rather than cutting costs. Even if Iām waiting an eternity Iām excited to hear my Deuce

My 2 centsā¦ The experience with Deuce so far has been good. Yeah it took a while from order to ship, but it was to be expected since itās a pre-order from a smaller company and I measure what I paid for and what Iām getting still 100% worth it.
I donāt know if it is because I got mine from Linsoul, but I donāt seem to have had the kind of trouble with tracking like I just read a lot of peeps complaining above. My email came a few days ago and gave me a āYunExpressā tracking number (like YT232323 bunch of numbers) which I could track on Your ALL-IN-ONE Package Tracker | 17TRACK and so far the last two days it was only moving from warehouse to hub etc. but then earlier today it reached a point where it just said Leaving so and so facility and then spat out the ālast mile tracking numberā (which is the regular format one I can track with my local post service and any number of apps).
Also, being that itās FatFreq I thought it would come from Singapore but all my early steps were located āMainland Chinaā, so, maybe itās a different batch, or they all come from China. Not really in the know on these logistic things.
Anyways, really looking forwards to hearing it. Iām a big fan of Chrisās tuning choices and collabs, a fellow bass enthusiast and this will be my 1st FatFreq.
