@hawaiibadboy Would you say the Focus EDM for $60 would still make sense as a fun bass set, or redundant if I’m getting a more tastefully tuned Deuce soon that still smashes bass?
This is totally off topic and I’m sorry @hawaiibadboy for doing this in your thread but I received a DM from @J808 regarding the situation between him and @Cameleon30 that occurred yesterday, & I felt the need to express my opinion on what @J808 said as well as what @Cameleon30 said. It’s bled over into a business transaction, which is very unfortunate but it is what it is. With that being said, here’s what I need to clear up;
That’s a direct quote from his post. This is the part I had an issue with. Everything else is up for debate, a healthy debate at that. I want to clarify that I am NOT encouraging troll-like behavior like @J808 is claiming I am, that’s not who I am. Just like he said;
So were my words as well. I dislike strong negativity, especially insults in this forum. I don’t think there’s any place for it. I also don’t think there is any room for trolls either. Both are not preferred here. We have a great little community and the last thing we should be doing is trolling and insulting each other.
I don’t want enemies here or in real life. I’m a passive person who loves everyone and gets along with everyone. So I want to make a public apology to @J808 if I misunderstood his frustration. I understand he’s going through a lot right now behind the scenes, things that I couldn’t even imagine, so to a certain point I can understand. But my opinion still stands, I do not encourage insults being thrown around NOR do I encourage troll behavior. Whether @Cameleon30 was trolling @J808 is up to them to decide and hash out. I regret chiming in, so I apologize for that as well. I shouldn’t have butt in like I’m some peacekeeper here. That was out of line and I hope that everyone understands I regret that decision.
That’s it. Sorry for the rant and big post, but I needed to clear it up.

@hawaiibadboy, just had another scammer @BggarGiveaway-v8f claiming that I had won something and to go to their site etc, etc…
Waiting for the Deuce is irritating, but I’ve been made to wait an age for loads of items from China, and I paid a $1pre-order token for the Timeless 2 in June on Linsoul and haven’t heard diddly squat from them, but what really pisses me off is scammers like these arseholes.

This isn’t the first time @Cameleon30 has engaged in trolling behavior but I let it slide in the past. Can’t fight every battle but I’m not going to keep getting trolled by this person. It’s insulting to spread that I have engaged in misinformation which doesn’t even make sense. At some point I’m going to clap back at his behavior. At this point, I don’t care if I get banned from the forums because I’m not going out like that.
You’re a stand-up person. In that DM sent, I expressed that you’re a good person that greatly contributes to the community. That’s why I was willing to take such a loss on the item. It was tough for me to take that loss while supporting someone’s trolling behavior towards me. Thank you for clearing up your position in this situation. You don’t need to apologize to me (although I’m thankful for the gesture). I completely understand and respect your position. You are a true asset to the community and your kindness is truly valued. Tomorrow I’ll able to get back home and power has been restored. Things are looking up. I really appreciate your words.

Firstly, I apologice Secondly, my personal frustrations began the day I saw a Canjam pic with 3 Fatfreq members and realized the launch was in 2 days and they must have a skeleton staff. Why not just schedule launch for Oct 10 when all hands are on deck?

That would be absolutely amazing. I have no idea if they even plan on making a hat based on the lack of replies I’ve gotten. But it’s still on their official site so…
I plan on making a video on my channel separate from my review detailing my customer experience in pre-ordering the deuce. Basically a video version of what I have written here. I like their engineering and their products, but as a reviewer, I have to make my experience clear to them, and to everybody who watches my video.
Also, just want to say that you’re a legend for doing this. I’ve always loved your videos and you’re a big reason I’m in the hobby as a collector, let alone as a reviewer. The example you’ve set by always putting your viewers and community first is something that I follow and intend to continue following, especially in the event that I end up having a collab set someday.

If I deliver a scathing vid people would dismiss it as sour grapes, money related or whatever else they might do to diminish/dismiss the message.
Paying companies is easy.
