For real? I thought you liked clean mid bass? GK10 seems a bit bloated.
So, is Penon the OEM or Geek is??
Just follow what Dsnuts recommends, don’t even think twice. Just trust his in-ear integrated couplers and buy what he says it’s good.

Lol, i was actually considering the Fan because 1DD
What are you waiting for? Buy 2, so you won’t have same issue as @nymz with Teas as QC has become questionable now
I own the ex800st, and ues you can get a good/ perfect seal. I use the azla sedna earfirlights and the xelastics. The one thing I honestly do hate with a passion is the odd fit . The shell in which the driver is housed sticks out . You could also use foam tips if that’s your thing. If you could get over the odd fit. I recommend the ex800st. Unfortunately I havent listened to the ex1000. Have you looked into the Mjölnir Thors I also own those and they are a great bassy set.
I had the feeling about QC from some comments on head-fi
The EX800ST (tape or EQ) is more suited as a basshead iem than the EX1000. (EX1000 is the better iem though.)
The ex800st tape mod is a dangerous basshead. In my opinion it doesnt need the mod. Imaging and detail are great with this warmer iem. From what I have heared / read the ex1000 is brighter . So like everything audio , it is subjective to preference. So as a basshead iem I think the ex800st stands tall.
If you want a basshead iem (bass quantity over quality), then you either need the tape mod or eq with the ex800st.
The iem provides nice bass/subbass as is. If you want extra bass then the mod is definitely needed. Other than that the bass is basshead certified, no mod required.
Perhaps stock is enough for him
Did you post that graph because you believe what the graph shows? In that case the ex800st have zero bass.
One thing I strongly recommend, dont ride a bike while listening to music on these. They suck ball . The seel cant stop the wind. Riding in the bus as and walking are good just not the forces of the wind.
Just saying !
