Cool man if you say so like I keep saying what graphs may say. Aren’t always true to human ear. To my ears the 58x are warm with a mid focus I never argued the 559 wasn’t warm or less warm both are warm to my ears to different degrees.
Ok
20 charssssss
You should honestly really try the headphones first. Before pulling out graphs. While graphs are helpful basing an entire opinion on just them can do more harm than good.
Ye I am gonna buy the K371 or the 58X or both to have a reference point sound wise, also cuz they are really good!
Nice. Curious to see what you think about the 371. Really trying to convince myself I don’t need it
Altho honestly I can’t decide between the K371 and the K361 one has a nice subbass boost the other has more forward mids and treble, I am especially worried of that more treble on the K361 since me and treble are not the best friends xD
ok thank you guys for the clarification, so i should stay away from any “dark” headset as this is not my taste
nonetheless, if the seller refused to refund it, is it possible to tune the headset using some sort of eq settings?
Warm not dark, dark means reduced treble warm means boosted high bass/low mids.
Also ye you can try EQ-ing it using the 599 graph since there is no 559 graph from what I know
have you tried it on other sources?
Did anybody recommend the Cooler Master MH751?
yep one of the first things reccomended
Tbh that may be better for detail and less darkness.
There’s also the KSC75 if you don’t mind the look, they’re actually not bad for open back gaming lol.
OK so the refund succeeded, what I should look for next ? ( 58x and k361/371 unavailable in my region)
P.S: only for gaming and please no more warm headsets…
Ad500x available? Perhaps it is cheaper than the 700x
If you have a small head and/or zero clamping, all you hear is treble from HD58X. Not recommended if you don’t like warm sound anyway, because the pads will get thinner over time so the sound will get warmer.
Both available but cost more than 200$
Yeah no go then
Also is it practical to use rtings.com for headphones comparison as its the only site with detailed comparisons
Yes Rtings good
It’s good to find basic info, but their subjective sound descriptions are not accurate, their rating system is rather inaccurate imo
